What to do , there is nothing to watch and comparable to GOTD
I just started Moonlight Mystic. Only watched two eps so far. I can’t help but to feel that Dylan would be perfect for the Ml role and not Ao Ruipeng 😅
Take a chill pill! It’s a drama! But if we talk history, that kind of behavior would result in death penalty…
It’s fair that everyone can have their opinion. But like the other said, this drama is adapted from a novel. The drama is just following the written story. If you want to see historical drama that actually follows history, then you can’t be watching idol dramas. You might want to look into three kingdoms (although I haven’t watched it myself).
he cannot fight justice by defying the King openly , kidnapping a state Duke from the palace ? this is an era…
Take a chill pill! It’s a drama! But if we talk history, that kind of behavior would result in death penalty for the main person and his family for nine generations (well, maybe not nine generations since those officials are not royal blood)
Many kdramas start airing while the shooting is not done from what I hear. Some like glory or other Netflix kdramas…
C-dramas are always pre produced, then going into censorship. Once passed the censorship it has been given green light to air and put into airing schedule.
It’s seem that Dylan is not good at mandarin. I guess foreigners can’t tell since we don’t speak Chinese…
He speaks mandarin with an accent because he is from Sichuan. It’s very common to have an accent if you’re from a city in China that speaks a dialect. In his case, with the heavy Sichuan dialect usually indicates that he spoke very little “clean” mandarin as a child. Maybe only at school because its mandatory, but not with friends and family.
A clip from an interview with Dylan about the crying scene. They asked what he was feeling during that scene. He said that when he turned around and saw Officer Zheng, all the emotions deep down inside came to the surface.
They asked what he and Feng Hui (Officer Zheng’s real name)said to each other after the director said “cut”. Dylan’s said they didn’t say so much, just gave each other a big hug.
The interviewer also said that the crew were crying during that scene and asked what Dylan felt after finishing that scene. He said that it was difficult to come out of that role at that moment because he had to go deep inside himself to play that part.
On weibo, I keep seeing the scene from ep40 (the crying scene). And I get emotional everytime. Officer Zheng played that part so well, that little smile and the comforting eyes. He and Dylan were so great together during that part. It’s like, they totally understood the mission there and it played out so perfectly. I just can’t stop praising that scene enough!
I couldn’t even watch the jail scene where Officer Zheng was tortured. I had to fast forward those few min. It was too hard to watch. Damn, he played that role so well!
GOTD author has repeatedly acclaimed Wang Hedi’s performance and praised him. “Wang Hedi is exactly the Xu…
He said it so well! Especially about Dylan’s eyes! I love the way he changes from normal/funny to serious. You can instantly feel the change in the “atmosphere” (lack of a better word?)
I had a special feeling about that scene because I recognized his crying as identical to the way I saw him cry…
You’re welcome! You are right! His crying here also reminded me of his crying in LBFAD. Very deep and emotions are running high. It (the crying) came at the perfect moment. Like he was holding it in since he heard about the 380k lives and finally could let it all out.(I don’t know if they filmed the scenes in chronological order, but that was the impression). I could feel his pain. One of few dramas were the ending left people speechless, not because of story, but because of acting!
