both the male leads' acting chops are really excellent ! it's an enjoyable science fiction crime thriller for me, some elements are intriguing (despite dumb decisions by some characters).

just here to say i think the same about SHK and Park BoGum!
I thought he was almost perfect in Hello Monster. I noticed him in Naeil's Cantabile (Tomorrow's Cantabile) too. His melancholic character was quite a scene stealer. (so maybe he's good in mellow.. broody... angsty characters π)..
Go Kyung Pyo was also in this drama and he was fun and lively to watch!

@SapphireXX it's a great and refreshing point. I watched most of her dramas for the male lead (or the pairing), she's lovely and got a good energy but not at the emotive level of some other top actresses.
now it makes sense why it feels a bit "flat" with some of her scenes
I really like how GwangNam found a sister in SangEun, and now a friend in his manager (whether or not there will be romance is left open, I like that too - romance isn't the only important thing in life). people who root for him knowing who he is. and it's very well contrasted in his family dinner scene. I'm happy he has something good to look forward to πother than this, my thoughts are exact same as after episode 11 - much more potential in other plot points. half baked chaebol drama wasting the excellent cast. but to me the cast really did their best and every character convinced me.
for me, the couple was very clear since beginning though.. the 2ML syndrome hardly sailed cos of the way he was…
overall yes :) There are many well paced comedic moments, the slow burn romance is sweet. It's a fun watch despite the flaws :) The cast did really well despite the plot holes etc.
gwangnam the bodyguard π been seeing this plot device - the older generation phones (and the recordings) last forever π
I'm rewriting some of my thoughts- now I kind of wish that it's either a longer drama, with chaebol family drama fleshed out fully (don't do it half-heartedly with one dimensional characters), side characters with more complete arcs, rather than filler moments. Mdm Yoo's character arc just seems too flat.
There were interesting parts - enjoyed Sangeun's clients' stories, JiHo, 2FL back stories, even Gwang Nam's family situation, acceptance journey, could have been great plot development. So a great alternative, is to have a shorter drama with these elements instead, I think it's potentially a good drama plotline.
The current episodes seem more like a (not that well) condensed form of so much half-baked drama...
Still a fun watch thanks to the main characters. Maybe I'm too unrealistic to yearn for more (better pacing, weaving of subplots, character arcs etc) cos this cast has been amazing to watch.
Will be rewatching the great moments between the leads (so many JiHo moments.).
i said this before the drama even started, but i'm team second male lead. oddly enough, this drama was a drop…
for me, the couple was very clear since beginning though.. the 2ML syndrome hardly sailed cos of the way he was written (poor boundaries behaviour with FL etc). FL clearly liked only one person from beginning, so it's more of the other subplots dragging it down..
