Just watch the drama with light heart, seriously its not that deep . You will give yourself headache otherwise as a lot of stuff didn't make sense....lol
All i can say is from ep 1-3/4 it was a mess, you had no idea where the plot was heading. But hang in there ,once you get past the confusion.com its kind light on the heard drama. Nothing serious and you def wont have that I want to punch certain characters in the face that you get sometimes with Kdrama. All the characters grows into you and you will like even the evil characters. I think everyone played their characters well, especially when they had to swap characters between the worlds. One thing for sure I thing the writers were going towards Goblin directions with this drama or it was just me that felt that? The bromance, her falling in love with much older guy (if he meet her she was 5, dude is more than 2 years older) and even the OST had the same vibe like Goblin.
There's a lot of mmmmm, what, how , when and sight because some part of the plots didn't make sense(don't want to spoil it for some). But its not as bad as i had expected (well im waiting for ep 16 so I might change my mind...lol). Also LMH acting is not bad , as for those that keep complaining that he lack facial expression/emotions, he supposed to cute but very firm king so you cant expect him to look/act like he did in BoF or heirs.
4 years later I finally gave it ago, took me 3 days to finish. It wasn't bad at all but it had room for improvement and it would have been find with 10-12 episodes. Best part you could just fast forward parts you didn't want to see.
You got to give Koreans credits for going over the top with the Hero's being stabbed, shot, killed and some how they always recover after one trip to the Dr's ???
People keep complaining about the bad English of some of the actors, have you guys never seen in America /British films that they always use fake Asian /Africans speaking languages that no one even understand?
What can I say, here again wondering why do I keep torturing myself with KBS drama. Same damn storyline, bad people get away with murder or get amnesia so they forget they were evil and everyone forgives them.
dropped it after ep 6, the gender swap ruined it for me tbh
I dragged myself to the end with a lot of fast forwarding. I read some have watched it over and over again for being the greatest kdrama. I guess different strokes for different people...lol
Took me 10 years to actually watch it and I just finished it. All I can say is WHERE all the hype about this drama being one of the greatest kdrama??? I am confused. Out of the 20 episodes, maybe 3-4 episodes was good the rest dragged on, too many cliché, unnecessary and boring characters and very flat plot. Was fast forwarding a lot to get it done. I guess too much ado about nothing with this one :/
So far so good, but like with all KBS 100+episodes drama they always messes up the ending . Suddenly everyone lives happily ever after,even the bad guys. :\
