YZJ was her great love and he taught her much about the world of business, to plan three steps ahead of your opponent. I believed she had a joyous time with her loved one and to treasure every moment with him. This is one drama which I will rewatch, not now but a few months down the road. Now to fill this aching emptiness now that the drama is done.
I think I can get through this. After my period of grief, I have come to accept this ending. Spending whatever time left together, having no regrets, it could have been a year, 5 years, 10 years. You never know what will happen next. I am just wondering if BE in dramas are a sign of our pessimistic times. For this drama, I am considering it as an OE.
I think we are just making each other anxious with those short and disjointed clips being shared on weibo and x. We are almost at the end. Just have to bear the ride.
I am not sure how this works but would there be a way to verify that the stones that CSJ used were from Yan's family jewelry? I know YZJ recognised the pieces but then he would have to expose himself as being the survivor of the massacre. Unless CSJ has to show evidence from where she got the stones?

I agree. You have to watch the drama abd make your OWN decisions. If you are easily swayed by peoples opinions, you will lose out a lot. Noise in social.media is just noise. Just block them and move on. They want you to retaliate so that they can cut and paste your post to say, 'look! The fans of so and so are so mean!'
To me SMZ and CSJ are opposites. One consumed by vengeance, the other is to live life without greviances CSJ can be as smart as SMZ but she is just blinded by hatred. She looks down on a pearl diver girl who made it to the top without relying on others, whereas she herself needed to lean on the Zheng family. I can only think her only and final act of redemption would be to save YZJ, to show that she has thrown away her cloak of vengeance.
Hmm, I don't think this drama was meant as a wuxia, so it is not going to be full of action scenes. Much like LTTG which had a lot of scheming and intrigue. It will not be exciting all the time but I am loving the scheming that YJZ and SMZ get up to in order to deal with their enemies. PS. Papa Zheng is one smart cookie. They will need to plan really well to get one over that old fox.

Don't forget that the Zheng family is the most prominent and have their grubby fingers in all the different businesses. Competition? Bully the others until they no longer have business. Use false accusations and the public will believe when the authority figures also agree with those accusations. Which is why I love how, for business, YZJ is three steps ahead of his enemies. The only time he miscalculated was in the desert. After the Zhengs are controlled, the Black Dragon bandits will need to expose themselves to find a new way to fence their stolen goods.

Pretty much you knew where he stood when CSJ was insulted by his mother and he didn't stand up for her. Only good enough as concubine/mistress but not as a legitimate wife.
