Can This Love Be Translated? Episode 1

This episode standalone would make a pretty great movie. Picturesque location but the two leads are tormented by their past love. They don't belong to the place but they both have their sad stories belonging the place - her secret and his, becoming their secret. Painful secret that they both understand each other very well. We learn Hojin is our lead with impeccable language skills, and seems to be quite a pedantic himself (asking to refill Korean pamphlets for tourists and correcting his clients goofups) and also seems to be very kind and caring. Muhee on the other hand seems like the complete opposite with a chaotic energy but it is revealed she only was there seeking answers and wanted some kind of closure. Set out to set things right she learns things that her story wasn't what she thought it was but only to be rescued by Hojin and save her from further drowning in her sorrow.Keeping this review spoiler free, this opening episode has beautiful cinematography, character study and is truly a romantic comedy at heart.Refreshing, fast and quite rich first episode knocks it out of the park. If you have liked 'Before/After Sunset', 'The Holiday' and even the latest 'Heated Rivalry' the storytelling makes you feel nice and warm.
