Fun fact, this is 90% of K-Dramas... absolutely ruined due to secondary or even further down the line morons who have no business being anywhere & yet they're everywhere where main leads are CONSTANTLY & often end up with more screentime then actual leads of the show ruining everything there is to ruin -.-

i would be harsh if he wasn't, but he is :/ i dropped it just today at episode 32 or 33, cuz i couldn't take it anymore, this is about where he really shows how much of a "worthless doormat" he is... if you watched to this point you'll quickly understand which topic within the show i'm talking about that really shows this point, he was pretty good at start though, too bad like with almost every MC they're amazing at start but fairly quickly (or the moment FMC gets involved in his life) they nerf the MC into oblivion and make them pretty much worthless...

it's hilarious you keep going on about how he's "dominant" when he's literally a worthless doormat.... oh yeah he likes to ACT tough, but the moment he's supposed to be ACTUALLY dominant & do the right thing, he just let's everyone walk all over him & let's everyone go, punishing no one that more then just deserves punishment... he's basically the same as all of those so called "heroes" who'll let a psychopathic murdering beyond corrupt & irredeemable villain murder the entire before they'll kill him when they could of killed him from the start & saved literally billions of lives...

Literally the same type of character personality, act all tough & badass, capable & so on, but when it actually counts, they're more worthless then a rock on the side of road -.-

Yet another asian drama with typical spineless MC that bends over & let's everyone walk all over him....

The MC's bestfriend is basically "Sakura" from Naruto but male, beyond reality levels of annoying... MC just let's him be a sh1thead 24/7 and never does anything about it, instead of smacking him back into reality considering this donkey can't do a single thing right & all he does is abuses his power for his personal gains & acts like a typical male hoe...

FMC is just a spineless doormat with 24/7 depressoexpresso self pity party & tantrum throwing while running away at the slight hint of literally anything not going her way like a fukken toddler on a sugar rush...

the potential was enormous, but all of it wasted with worthless characters...

he was how they shaped him, he treated others how they treated him, while the worthless grandma had ppl who cared for her, he had no one & you expect me to blame the guy who's been fucked over more then an orgy & somehow feel compassion for a cunt who abandons her own family & then blames THEM for how they are & their actions which comparing to hers aren't even bad? GTFO...

i'll stop you at the 1st part about cultures, TOXIC/ABUSIVE & so on is not a culture there for has nothing to do with cultures of any race & so on... just like saying EVIL is not EVIL cuz it's someone's culture thus everything is suddenly allowed & deemed normal cuz of it... hell no, i don't care for culture nor race nor anything else when it comes to down right evil behavior, if you're TOXIC you're toxic end of discussion, if you're an abusive pile of shit then that's what you are, it has nothing to do with anything else period... same principle as if someone tried to kill you, race/culture won't matter, if you wish to live you will fight back even if your "race or culture or both" tell you to be peaceful & non violent, if you value your own life you will fight back, end of discussion.

the problem is why it's NOT worth watching & that overshadows any good & positive about this show that may make it worth watching... i'm at episode 19 and i'm counting the amount of blessings this script writers & producers receive due to me being in another country... 90% of this whole show is about psychopathic FML mother who doesn't know how to stfu due to the fact that this isn't reality but a tv show, after all in real life someone would of smacked her so hard it would literally yeet the stupid out of her...

FML mother character is an absolute psychopathic pile of S... and ML grandmother is one hell of y hypocrite and just down right a bad person... pretends and spews nonsense about family & blah blah blah yet she never considered her own grandson family while he considered her his only family, all she cared about was her granddaughter all the while being a hypocrite spewing nonsense & deceiving ML just to get him to be nice to FML... truly a garbage show all around... i wish Xu Kai stopped doing shows like this, cuz in 2 shows i liked him in he was amazing, but no matter how much i like him as an actor being in shows like this just ruins him & despite him being in it the show is still unbearable... after all as the saying goes even if you shove a diamond into pile of S, it's still gonna be a pile of S... what cannot be good will never be good no matter what.

"absolute" is not if/maybe/sometimes/for some/etc, it has nothing to do with ones opinions & so on, nor does the meaning of "NO" no is no it's that simple, there's no additional of "absolute" or others opinions and so on about it period, that's the whole point, the reason rapists exist is cuz they don't understand nor accept anything that has to do with "NO" aka denial towards them, same principal applies to everyone else who also simply ignore the word NO and do whatever they want despite being told to piss off & until you understand the basic fundamentals of words you use there will be no point in having any discussion with you on any level.

If for no other reason to put it simply for even you to understand, if we go by your logic of "NO" not meaning no, then "YES" doesn't mean yes either, and suddenly "maybe" doesn't mean maybe nor does any other word mean what they're supposed to mean and the reason they exist to convey that meaning from one person to another to make communication not only possible but actually UNDERSTANDABLE, if words no longer have the meaning they should then communication is no longer possible & voilà we're back to being simple caveman, which for ppl like you who can't understand plain & simple language you speak might as well be labeled a caveman...

no it's not, 8 episodes in and i see nothing but typical asian shit of ppl forcing themselfs into other ppls business, their lives, onto them in one way or another, constantly butting in into everything everywhere, touching & taking others belongings without permission, failing to understand being told no 1 billion times like a rapist would who simply deleted "NO any form of denial" out of their existence to get their way...

If that's not a "bullying" show idk what is, but last time i checked that kind of behavior is the furthest thing from "Romance/Friendship &/or healing" of any kind... & it has another 32 episodes of this insanity & even if magically it goes from this shitshow to what you described in episode 9 & onwards, its still to go from absolutely enraged pissed off watching the 1st 8 episodes to actually enjoying it later on...

i'm on episode 8 so idk yet what went down in her past, but everyone has a traumatized past of some sort, doesn't give anyone an excuse to be a lying hypocritical ass towards others, especially ones they claim to love like FL claims to love ML while taking a piss on him 24/7 in each episode from the very 1st one cuz she's just judging shit left & right in her own head without actually having a fukken conversation to find out anything, so as typical FL she makes up shit in her head & thus ML is the bad guy, while the ML poor soul doesn't even have a fukken clue what the hell is going on and why he's being taken a shit on for no reason all the time & then you got that 1 side/2nd male character that always shits & pisses on everything all the time ruining the whole damn show...

Generally ppl who skip in dramas is cuz we're there for the romance aspect of the drama, not braindead retarded unrealistic "drama" that even fiction can't support, thus we skip cuz no one has time in their limited lives to waste it in moronic shit like that... exactly & evil male characters in asian dramas are the pinnacle of disgust, so i fukken hate shows with such characters in them... & i'd like to know your 2nd question about how long it takes the main leads to start being romantic with each other (i'm all for a nicely paced show, but if i have to wait for the main leads to get together till the last 4-6 episodes of the show then i'm wasting my time on 70% of the show while being here for the main reason of romance between the main leads which pretty much 90% of romance dramas is about, yet you usually end up getting 30% of main leads romance about 70% of other characters romance & everything else... kinda insane to be honest... it's really hard to find a good show where main focus is where it should be & that's on relationship on main leads no matter how fast or slow paced it may be)

no evil 2nd female lead is the least of my problem, the issues i have with evil any 2nd lead or side-characters is with males, cuz they're always so freaking rapey it pisses me off, it's like this korean/chinese dramas can't make evil/bad characters without always being FULL TILT forceful against main female lead to the point it makes them look like rapists & it fucking triggers me on a level if i meet them in real life i'd end up in prison... i absolutely fucking hate that type of character even if it's fictional for the sake of story/plot, i can't stand it... so evil female characters are something i couldn't care less, cuz MC doesn't just let them roll over them, but main female leads 99% of the time have no backbone of any kind so they just let those evil characters do pretty much whatever they want with them and it drives me nuts -.-

So if you say there's no BS like that, i'll gladly go watch (i started having to skip aprox half of each episode in majority of dramas i watch just to skip that "drama" part of each episodes to be able to actually enjoy the rest of the show & finish watching it.

You know it's hard to take someone seriously recommending to watch something with a rating of 8.0 out of 10 while having the show marked as "Dropped"... though i'm watching it atm mainly cuz i saw a couple of shorts around the internet & it looks like it could be interesting so i'm giving it a go to see for myself, though seriously pathetic from your side to go rating something high & recommending it while you yourself drop it... been a while since i saw one contradicting themselfs this badly...
