I wouldn't go back into my school days, it was a hard schooling so don't wanna redo it!
Problem is...once you change a few things at the beginning, everything else will change and soon the future becomes unknown again.

Episode 1 and 2 (first half) set up the story, so we know that in recent time Qian Wei lives a miserable life,…
He can't take his eyes off her and acts like a hedgehog when another male comes near her. -:)
I liked it when he refused to play with the others and just lied down next to her on that sports field. He is so comfortable in her presence, I hope they end up together . He acts like an ideal boyfriend, absolutely perfect.

Thank you!Well, I didn't care much about cars but I feel bad for horses in period dramas/movies. I am glad to…
Well, I don't know for sure but from what I gathered in those behind the scenes videos, it looks like that to me.
I wanted to mention horses but I didn't want to go too far off the subject - heart breaking when they fell down gasping for air but content with not letting them suffer.

Well done, Lakshmi, we are ready to get it off our chests from time to time.

I remember when I was a child, cars were such luxury items yet in films they always got destroyed, I used to hate that happening.

But, fear not, that food is never wasted, there is an army of people finishing it off as soon as the cameras are off. You know what, sometimes I'm thinking, maybe that's why they never touch it, to allow it to be eaten by someone else without problems. No, I don't think there is any food wastage , believe me.

Food waste? Hate that! That's why I love Korean shows like Hospital Playlist or Good Manager... the food gets…
While I hate seeing people talking with their mouths full, I would rather see them finishing eating everything on their plate than leaving it untouched while saying 'Oh, yeah, I finished eating' - no, you didn't, I can still see it.

Well, what can I say, you convinced me. I've been hesitating since its promotion but the way you describe it, it looks like it's definitely worth watching it so, yes, I'll have it on my asap watch list.

Thanks for reading, Elena. :)I hope you continue enjoying it. I did not take the drama much seriously. But, brace…
I only saw her in Melting Me Softly where she was like a 'live wire' full of energy, she played a completely different character where her talent could be seen and appreciated. This time, it does her no justice.
Suspicious Partner is with Nam Ji Hyun, very entertaining drama in spite of its criminal subject.

Netflix is saving me so much time, I just set it to 2x speed and see quickly if it's worth watching - I've just dropped Itaewon Class because I found the images too dark, I'm trying to watch something nice, not fights and misery.

Thanks for your insights. I wonder if dropping dramas is a learned behaviour? I think I am still a newbie and…
Yes, it is a learned behaviour but I wouldn't advise it for newbies because you mustn't let yourself be influenced by other people's likes and dislikes, after you've watched for a while and you notice how you react to certain aspects of dramas, then proceed with skipping and dropping them, I'm glad I didn't do it at the beginning, I've learned slowly and I rarely copy what the others are doing. Also, I only read reviews after I start a drama if I'm starting to have problems with it. It's hard to find a drama which is 'perfect' for everyone but there can be a 'perfect' drama for a certain individual.

I'm glad you mentioned this one - the title did not live up to my expectations, I dropped it after a couple of episodes, it felt so artificial, so fake, pity, it could have been a good one.

The last sentence is a fact. xD So far the only two dramas I ended up enjoying are Healer (definitely his best…
With the exception of his early works, I watched everything with JCW including the c-dramas he played in - that sucked me right in c-dramas, unintended consequence. That was in my early days of watching Asian dramas so I was easily mesmerised by most of them, I particularly enjoyed the suspense in The K2. I might revisit it some time just to see how I feel about it. I gave it 8 stars, I still believe it's worth watching.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one that was confused watching the king eternal monarch because of the plot holes.…
It made me question my comprehension skills - in other words, it made me feel stupid. I'm glad it wasn't me. I dropped it half way through as I no longer understood what was going on and then I really didn't care what the outcome was to be at the end. Too long, 12 episodes would have been enough to make a point. Too many cooks spoil the broth - it seems that a team of writers all participating and wanting their bit to be included.

One big flaw with this drama is the choice of FL - her body size to be precise, petite, I like her, I saw her in Melting Me Softly and I had the same problem, JCW being as big built as Rowan.

I know a couple in real life just like them, long happy marriage and so on but on screen it just doesn't look convincing, in my opinion, Rowan's acting is perfect but, still...I reserve the right to not believe it.

Anyway, after ep.6 the 'story' became 'stories', I was a bit disappointed by the direction it was taking because I was already formulating different scenarios in my mind but, helped by the reading of reviews I quickly went along with it and I'm now curious to take my attention from the main couple and enjoy what happens with the others, it's a bit like Because This Is My First Life where all three couples problems were in focus.

"This drama is perfect for viewers as a palate cleanser…" - you said it ! It's not something I would normally go for, I initially wanted to see some of Rowan's acting (and not only - sic!) but then I found the story captivating, I hope it won't disappoint me in the end, I've just finished ep.6. I found it easy watching without any dramatic twists, no one's shouting, not much violence, I dropped watching everything else on my list and that's a big compliment to this drama, so far.

I take it back, your review isn't long, it's just right ! After reading yours I noticed some others really, really long, therefore, I changed my mind.
I appreciate the time people take writing reviews and it's a pleasure to see different ideas, interpretations on the same subject. Keep writing, we will be reading !

Haha! Thank you. I liked it so far. I honestly just wanted to share my review and didnt wanted to rate it but…
Totally agree with your rating, it's boring for me to the point that I want to drop it - I think I will in the end, there is stuff out there much more interesting than a fake 90's and her wig...ahhhh...noooo, it's mostly talking and fencing.

Wow, what a long review but so interesting, I had to read it all and, believe me, I don't remember the last time this happened, I usually read the shortest of them all.

I just finished the drama which left me with such nice feelings about life and relationships, everything was shown in the most honest way, kudos to everyone doing such a sterling job, including the reviewer who put into words all our feelings and thoughts about everything we've seen on the screen.
