Remember if you don’t have anything nice to say…don’t say anything. This could go on and on between us with comments attacking one another, what’s the point? What are you trying to prove? I have no reason to aggue with you. I’m trying to be kind and express my option without having to offend someone. Because I don’t want that. I don’t regret not marking it as a spoiler and nothing is going to be accomplished arguing about it online. Instead someone needs to take the high ground. I’m talking in my original comment about my interpretation of what I think the film will be about. If that bothers you then keep moving please! It’s not out yet! (If only 😀) it was only released in February of this year and it normally takes around 6 months after the release for it to get picked up and subbed. Hopefully someone proves me wrong and posts a link soon

If you read anything about the film you can start making preconceptions. Similarly I could ask you why you go to the comments section if you don’t want anyone talking about the movie. You also chose to resort to name calling to get your feelings out, while I can see that you deem that acceptable, it’s far worse than anything I wrote. So please don’t resort to childish bullying/behaviour like calling me a JERK*caps included* because the only thing I see if someone who also shouldn’t have commented and escalating a situation. Simple: if you don’t want to read my comment stop at the words in my above comment: “im not marking this a spoiler since I don’t know [etc…]”. You chose to continue to reading. I can only imagine the struggle that must be. Especially with a child involved, I do believe that although it may be more likely to happen in a place like this, you can get hit by a car just crossing the street, or by a drunk driver. So hopefully these devastating events will be few and far in between! While I live on the opposite side of the world to Japan, it is on my list of places to visit. Excuse me? I’m not sure if I’m missing something or if you’re serious. A spoiler is because you know something about the movie, I know absolutely nothing about this film. I can’t spoil anything— since I don’t know what actually happens (never watch it?). I’m making an assumption. I’m guessing what’s going to happen, you’re welcome to disagree or agree, but again, it’s not a spoiler because I don’t know anything. It’s a general guess/statement as I believe that something bad will happen to the couple based on the summary. I hope you have a lovely day tho! :)
Having not watched this yet (so I’m not marking this as a spoiler as I do not actually know anything), you just know that Japan did it again, he’s dead. Doesn’t show up?! Like what is that? Can’t we just have a happy love story ? Why is there so much death? Ugh. Sorry had to get that out. Hopefully that’s not the case! HIS will always be close to my heart because I truly enjoyed the film. So I’m sad if in fact one of our leads dies (same actor in both films = yay!) . But having read a review apparently the acting is superb in this film and I’m really looking forward to watch it in the summer when (hopefully) the eng subs are out. Trailer looked great & gripping so I’m hopeful 🤗

The part that got me crying was when the two men were ready to sacrifice themselves to go through the radiation to get to the valve. LITERALLY CRIED. UGH, and the KID at the start just floating in the water... Oh man, this tugs some heartstrings. Living on the northern part of the Atlantic Ocean, We NEVER have natural disasters like this. No earthquakes or tsunamis that follow -- I feel fortunate to say I've never experienced anything like this ... but to imagine what these people went through is just heartbreaking. It made me want to stand up and cheer for all those workers who stayed and tried their best to help... It is definitely a powerful series.
solid acting & a compelling story. The people, the place, the event surrounding this disaster... it is all so unimaginable yet, it's based on the truth. This event really did happen, and this gives you some insight into some of what transpired in the days after the earthquake and tsunami. While I love Netflix for the way they release their series (because you can binge in one sitting at times), given the heavy plot and the fact that this is based on a true story, I found myself having to take breaks while not for long, because the anxiety you feel couldn't let you go for long without wondering what would happen next. The cast was stellar, I couldn't imagine any other actors better to fit any roles, from main to support, it was excellent. 9/10 deserves applause and awards and recognition. Amazing series! Watch this, but keep in mind that nearly 20,000 people died as a result of the natural disaster * See spoiler for more below.

Yes, you’re correct. My guess is tho instead of going back to his time in the future (conclusion of season 2), somehow he gets transported even further back which is where season 3 will pick up.

I feel this 100% i watched this for the first time back in 2020, and it has some "you've got mail" vibes. I enjoy it 100% but never understood the Yoshida/stalker character. I get to a certain point it was to cause Takashi's character *spoiler* to go after her but really did not enjoy his character whatsoever, even *Spoiler* the ending where he lets her go?! like what was that?? I get that he said *spoiler* he never felt that love before and truly cares for her but still *cough cough * STALKER VIBES lol Overall, I hope you enjoyed it. i just recently finished it again and i still must say I'm still a fan of the show. Something about the 90s just makes me happy. Hope you enjoyed it too ;)

Honestly, I agree 100% with what you're saying. Did he find her amusing? How so? What caused this amusement? Because of the way she talked? directly? Is that what started this whole scene where she protects him? or the way his friend jumps to the conclusion "She must like you to protect you"... Really? maybe she is just a good, kindhearted person with no romantic interest in him (obviously there will be a romance between the two leads - melodrama that it is). I'm looking forward to seeing how this develops as the plot moves forward. How or what begins their "romance" and how deep does it go? How will it eventually deteriorate--> Does she get her revenge? But overall, even with the flaws, I'm hooked - so looking forward to tomorrow's episodes. Tormented souls are always an interesting story for me; why do people never say how they honestly feel? It should be a good ride; it's still early, so I'm still hopeful for good character writing! :)
