Contract marriage dramas get me with the divorce angle. That's why I loved Princess Hours, Mask, Marriage Contract…
I personally don't care for contract marriage dramas anymore. What i love is mature romances. Mutual kisses and hugs. Not fish kisses and arms swinging or at a standstill. Sidenote: i hate when they go to cafes and dont drink their drinks
Yes yes yes! I'm to the point now where I don't bother to watch dramas if the main focus are Love Triangles and Youth connections. I especially hate when they break up in the middle or towards the end causing unnecessary drama. Fast burns, it depends. Sometimes, i like when they realize each other's feelings early and start a relationship. Wherein, the drama focuses on their relationship. Another peeve i have is grown adults being scared of "skinship". Maybe it's my culture, but it really isn't a big deal lol.
I see persons commenting saying that they do not like how the bad guy was portrayed. However, i love how he was portrayed. Not all bad guys act serious all the time, look sinister and always brooding. Some villians/bad guys are preppy, go happy people with a dark side. The bad guy in here is refreshing and entertaining
I'm really enjoyong this drama. It's funny but also touches on women issues in Korea culture and other similar culture. But...there was a part in the 5th episode that made me feel some type of way. When the doc described the photographer as ugly and said he was "very dark skinned", as if that equals ugly. I didn't like that
Agree, I'm not a huge fan of those types of corporate dramas (like Misaeng even), but this one the satisfaction…
But how the 2nd half was, it doesnt look like the satisfaction will live long with that upcoming underhanded plotting of doom. Sighs, i think i will have to sleep on this before i continue to the 2nd episode.
Boy, i dont know. I just finished the first episode and i started it thinking it was going to be a light hearted comedy. That wasnt the case. The treatment of the intern had me so upset and frustrated. And at that particular scene, the dam burst and I was sobbing. Even in the second part, with the jealous higher ups, i could see some shady and underhanded activity happening. I dont know if i am up for it. I will have to think on continuing .
Why did they make Nurse Oh into such a hysterical and unreasonable person in this season. She was the cool and rational person and now it's like she can't be reasoned with. Sighs
This is very targeted against Tharn when Type was also problematic. He was verbally and physically abusive to Tharn. Whenever he gets mad at Tharn, he resorts to punching or grabbing him. In addition, he constantly talks down to him, degrading his sexual preference and always in denial. I feel as if Tharn is the lenient one. You say he is emotionally manipulative, but I feel as if he has a right to be hurt, sulk and mad when he feels it. Don't get me wrong, i found it creepy when he would kiss and pet Type in his sleep. He did it without permission and knowing Type was uneasy with that type of skinship, especially when he induced Type's panic attack. But i must give him props for realizing his error and backing off. You say Tharn took advantage of Type when he offered sex, but I dont think so. I took it as Type making an excuse to have sex with him. The other times too, I dont feel as if he was forced or manipulated into it, but consensually wanted it. With all that said, I agree that their relationship was a toxic one, but from both persons and not just Tharn.
