holy, I thought I was the only one who blamed the scriptwriter. causes there were so many instances where It was just cringy to watch. Couple scene makes me wonder WHY they even thought that was a good idea. OR did they even review what they wrote? For a minute, I thought it was just the actor that isn't good.. but Xiao Zhan in Untamed was amazing soo enough said. I will probably give it a 7.3 issh / 10 just gotta say the scriptwriter needs some work.

His mentor described him as some sort of jewel that hasn't been awakened yet. From the moment he saw Gu Yao Dong, he see's the potential in him. he knows that he will be an important asset in espionage and wants him to be trained. I don't want to spoil it ( not sure if you finish it yet) but later on after his mentor leave to Nan Jing he was able to take his mentor place in Shanghai and did everything his mentor was suppose to do. + He did many missions that were extremely important for the success of the communist party. ( Again, not sure if you finish it yet not gonna spoil it) . Trust me its really good, I personally wasn't too keen with this kinda era at first but grew into it. :D

Same, I wasn't too sure about the republican era but I finished it and I loved it! There are definitely some slow parts but these slow parts help build to the bigger and climatic points in the drama. 9.3/10

He finally understands that the police department was corrupt and does not care for the poor that they only seek power and control. Upon hearing the fact that his neighbor was used as a scapegoat he fully understood his goal and his objective. It becomes the pivot point where he decided to fully side with the other fraction. In the beginning, he wasn't too sure if he wanted to help Qing He. He finds that a lot of things that happen with the other fraction lies within his morals. From the beginning, he knew he wanted to protect the poor but upon entering the academy it was a vastly different view.
I will probably give it a 7.3 issh / 10 just gotta say the scriptwriter needs some work.
