My actual rating would be 8.7/10. I thoroughly enjoyed the first 30 episodes the plot was truly addicting made me sleep late at night 🤩. But the last 10 episodes, not so much. To me, things got a bit boring when they are at the capital and there's no Chang Ning..🥲. I had no complaint about the visuals ( especially Zhang Ling He's face card 💘💘💘),the acting,exquisite costumes ,chemistry between leads and the OST. Those were 10/10.

I can guess the reasons why this drama has below 8 rating:

❌️ FL's deception getting dragged for so long until there is no tension left before it became a focus again
❌️ Annoying SML
❌️ Full of cliche galore especially in the last 2 episodes

What I liked:

✅️Jang Ki Yong. What an eyecandy (10/10)
✅️ Gong Ji Hyeok. He was not your typical cold CEO but humorous & very expressive in showing his feelings
✅️ Chemistry between leads (9/10). There were times I felt like I was intruding into their private moment. Episode 12 👈 I am talking about you
✅️ The acting (8.5/10)
✅️ The humor (8.5/10)
✅️ Enjoyable plot (8/10) with moderate angstiness level (7.5/10)
✅️ The ending credit where they shows all the cast dancing 😄


My rating: 8.5/10 (my actual rating between 8.3-8.5) because I am feeling generous & despite the shortcomings, I enjoyed most part of the story.

It is up to me what ways I watched my drama bij. Who are you dictate how I do my drama watching? Do you pay for my internet bills or pay me to do my review? The answer is no , so STFU and start making your own review I really want to see how great it is 😊

No need to write a long essay about you not agreeing with my opinion. Instead of being this bothered, how about you write your own review and make it into the top review then? About my review becoming the top review, last time I checked, I did not ask people to make my review a top review 🤷‍♀️. It is like you are complaining about something that I can't control. Pay me money bij if you want me to write about your opinion about this drama, it ain't for free 😊.

What kind of ending was thattt! Where is the reunionn…. 😭 I was feeling generous initially ,ready to rate this 8.5/10 —with my actual rating: 8.3/10— until the last scene happened 😫. Now nope 8/10 it is.. Tbh, I enjoyed watching this drama more than I thought I would be. Pity ,the ending sucks..

My review:

The plot is pretty average and the ending was a bit let down too but what I liked :-
✅️ The humor. A main reason why I gave this a high rating was because of this aspect was done very well.
✅️ How savage the grandmother was 😆. Her scenes with her zombie grandaughter always made me laugh lol.
✅️ The efforts Jeong Hwan made to save his daughter . It was heartwarming to see that he never give up on her ❤️.
✅️The synergy between Jeong Hwan and his friend , Dong Bae. He was such a true friend to Jeong Hwan 🫂.

Immensely enjoyed watching this season 👍👍 . It would not be this fun if the three of them are not a close friend to each other 😃 My rating:9/10

I had mixed feelings watching this drama. Most of the time, I feel disturbed, angry, and annoyed. It reminds me of what I feel while watching D.P. and The Frog.

While I understand why she became like that, how can her mind still be intact considering what she went through during her childhood... While I don't care what happened to bad people here because they had it coming. Still, what she did to innocent people like Heo In Gang and Choi Jeong Ho was unforgivable.

What I don't like : The open ending.The fact that we don't know what they did to Kim Jae Oh's body. The fact that nothing happened to Moon Do Hyeok while he was also as bad, as unhinged as Baek A Jin.

Otherwise, the acting and cinematography are top-notch.

My rating is as high as my level of enjoyment while watching this drama :7/10

The first half of the story was quite good. The suspense, the mystery behind Anna's work and all. But after the revelation on the rooftop of the apartment, the story kind of lost its spark. They told it as the only way to save mankind, but the storytelling was hard to follow and messy at best. My rating : 7/10

Esthetic wise this drama is doing great. Cinematography, costumes are all pretty. Especially Tian Xi Wei, she is gorgeous in every frame .The acting also fine ..but the plot is sooo not my cuppa tea 🥲. Investigation after investigation...New demon case after new demon case...I was bored.... watching it feeling like a chore *sigh*. So dropped @Ep21.

My rating : 8/10 for an engrossing earlier episodes, great action scenes & great chemistry between leads. Here we got adult romance that was done right . While the conspiracy plot in the last 2 episodes was messy at best ,the show trying to make it complex but it just did not worked for me.

The romance and chemistry between leads definitely a 10/10. I think if there is an award of xianxia with the most kiss scenes of the year, WDBTD would win lol 😃. But it's a shame, the plot was not that captivating for me, it was lacking something but I could not pinpoint what. While watching, I was not that crazy about the storyline. Sima Jiao character reminds me of Tantai Jin. His background was as pitiful in the same manner. Other then when our leads were onscreen, I used 3x speed to watch the rest. Thus I could finished this one just within 4 days . OST were just okay. In terms of costumes and cinematography maybe an 8.5/10,because as a xianxia lover I've seen better. My overall rating : 8.3/10.

(P/s: Now I know why this xianxia was previously named as Long For Fish 😂😂)

As much as I enjoyed seeing Fan Zhi Xin's handsome face, the plot was all over the place . I used to enjoy slapkiss in Thai dramas so many years ago but here I found it, unamusing 🥲. Don't like the FL. She was loud,bratty & obnoxious. As everything else aside from ML's face are not my cuppa tea, dropped @ep17.

My ratings / thoughts :
☑️ Plot : Between 7-8/10. Some parts were interesting some parts were not which I mostly watched in 2x speed mode. The storyline was not that addicting but still enjoyable enough.
✅️ Acting : 9/10. All cast down to the supporting characters did good job in potraying their roles. The villains here could compete in top 10 of the most cruelest and hated villains in historical c-drama.
✅️ Chemistry & romance : 8.5/10. Jing Tian and Zhang Wan Yi had good chemistry with each other. They looked comfortable with each other and like a pair really in love . I liked that ML was more expressive and not shy at all in showing his love towards FL. One thing that surprised me was this drama has many kiss scenes if compared with the other historical cdrama I've seen . Not that I am complaining.
✅️ Comedy : 8.5/10. I enjoyed FL's father and her brother scenes. Their scene always cracked me up good. Also scenes of ML and his servant with our super adorable character, Erniu. Loved this dog!
☑️ OST, cinematography,costume: 8/10.

Yeahh you are right 🥲. However I will continue praying that we will get white hair lead because of the genetic not due to suffering 🙏

NOOOO you just shattered my dream and hope 😭🥲🥲. I guess I just misunderstood that part of the story since we so used to see him with white hair like all the time except during their love tribulation.....I remember now 😭😭

Already blocked these 2 people 🙃. Not worth my energy at all. She was just an insecure fanatic fan who delusively think she doing drama world a favour by defending this drama to those who did'nt enjoyed it.
