Misaeng is a fantastic drama, it's such a shame that it's underrated.

I tried to watch a couple of popular lakorns, but could never get past the first episode because of that. At first I thought I just picked out the wrong ones, but then I realized they're all like that. It's truly horrible. If TV series (where everything is at least a bit sugarcoated) are like this, I don't want to even imagine how horrible it must be to live there and experience it. :( I sincerely hope life is a lot better in Thailand than how it's portrayed in lakorns.

Flower of Evil has an amazing OST song (Feel you), I don't think they released it yet, but it's fantastic. Every time it starts playing during the episode, I get goosebumps.

Exactly, well said. If I could give this drama a 100/10 rating, I would, and this is one of the reasons why.

I've just watched the first two episodes and I quite like the cinematography and the story (even though I think they ruined it a bit with those love triangles). In the comments, I saw that some people are annoyed by how certain characters (ex. the one who called her ''unnie'' which was more ironical than honest...) behaved. But, that's actually why I liked it, those things happen in real life a lot. The same goes for the disrespectful conductor. (Almost) everyone who's been in a (classical) music school experienced something similar. Teachers, conductors and other staff can be not just overly strict but also rude. I know that many people who watched they show wanted Song Ah to talk back or defend herself, but it's really hard to do that in real life in front of the whole orchestra without getting an even worse backlash. In other words, the conductor would've been even more pissed off and he'd take his anger out on the whole orchestra, so the members wouldn't be very kind later to Song Ah or whoever decided to talk back. And the last thing I want to comment on is the female lead's timidity. While some think it's too much, I don't agree. In dramas, FL are always either too bubbly, naive and cheerful or very confident. In real life, it's more in between those two types (in general). I know so many people who are exactly like Chae Song Ah, including myself, so I don't think they went overboard by making her very shy/awkward. I'm looking forward to the next episode.

Just like many others, I wanted to give this a chance because of Ji Soo. He's a great actor and I'm glad he finally got the main lead role. Still, I couldn't get past the first two episodes, it's soooo slow and overly dramatic. The cinematography is fantastic, though, but it's not enough to keep watching.

My thoughts exactly, finally a drama with a female lead that's smart and behaves in a realistic way. She's not one of those annoyingly bubbly, naive and not very clever damsels that appear in dramas too often.

I don't want this series to end :( For the last month, I stayed up late on Mondays and Tuesdays' nights waiting for new episodes and it was definitely worth it. This is one of the best dramas this year, together with Flower of Evil. Kudos to the writer for making an exciting drama even though it's just 1 case for the whole season. I loved the unique relationship between the two detectives, it was quite refreshing to see a drama like this one.
