Can someone please explain why hospital playlist is on the list?I mean I'm just curious đđ
seriously, that drama deserve each and every 10 rating it has gotten. Its understandable it might not be to some peeps taste but it is in no way overrated.
I have to say something I might get hate for, but I'm going to say it anyway. For me most of the Chinese dramas…
Actually for me the thing I hate the most about Chinese drama is dubbing. I understand that they do it because of dialect and stuff but still I find it really irritation. Like I'm watching a drama and I like some actor/actress and I try to watch some other work of them and they now sound freaking someone else lmao.
There has been some very good Chinese drama this year tho....Have you watched "You are My Glory"? or "One and Only"? These two are quite good and the story is interesting and isn't draggy either.
Why? LOLI actually like how it ended. Below this reply is a snippet of my review of Love Alarm 2 (spoiler).
Very well said, can't say I disagree. Also true that first lead syndrome was quite strong for this one...heck even I had it lol. From the start this drama wasn't really to my taste, I only sticked around for the steaming parts(if you know what I mean, >.<), but it started becoming too toxic and the triangle got quite bad(not a big fan of love triangles xD) so dropped it. Poor male lead....two most famous dramas of his and in both he has a toxic relationship..."Love Alarm" and "Nevertheless".
Why? LOLI actually like how it ended. Below this reply is a snippet of my review of Love Alarm 2 (spoiler).
Actually most of the people don't rate it bad just because she didn't end up with male lead but because of how it happened.
Female lead was too insincere when she broke up with him. He was given no closure on why she did what she did. In these kind of situation people become obsessive and clingy. Have seen this kind of situation in real life too. Do agree with point that 4 years was a long time. He should have moved on....but hey its a kdrama world, what do you expect lol xD.... If only female lead had just once sit down and talked to him providing him enough closure and making it clear to him, he would have probably moved on. In the season 2 like literally she just doesn't even care about him and have forgotten everything about that teenage love. Even if they were only together for 6 weeks, with the breakup it was clearly shown how much she cared/loved him. So I think thats the main reason most people don't really like the ending.
I liked the ending of Princess Agents. What I do not like is the fact that it's been over 2 years, and Princess…
little late to the party, but you should forget about Princess Agent 2 lol. You might not have heard but the source material for the drama(aka Novel) was banned after losing in court on plagiarism accusation. So there probably will never be season 2 of it, atleast not for a few decades lol.
Also, if they had actually made season 2, it would be so dope. Like I have read the novel(on pirate sites lol) and boy it sure was spicy. Everything people wanted is in that one. Big battles, steaming kissing romance(yeah you heard me right)....just about everything. You should read it, if you liked the drama
Wow. Look at you blatantly spreading misinformation. Tell me, do all Chinese people know how the Yasukuni Shrine…
lmao, its true to some extent. As previously mentioned did love him in "Word of Honor" lol. On this page I saw everyone just trying to see one side of picture by saying hes so innocent, they did him bad(its understandable since its his profile page but stll, people should know full story before trying to defend someone)....so i just wanted to post out the other side of picture too.
Tbh in my opinion Moon Lovers had one of the best ending. Yes, it was sad but still a great ending that left a huge impact on the audience. I bet it wouldn't be this popular till this day if it had a happy ending.
Wow. Look at you blatantly spreading misinformation. Tell me, do all Chinese people know how the Yasukuni Shrine…
See, I understand your point...why? Because you gave a detailed counter message of why you think what you think.....but that other person didn't know what they were talking about and just started speaking without doing their research. So I maybe put it out little hasty and rude with my answer.
1. I did that because of the questions put up by the "junjun". Thats why I said earlier i got little hasty, as the person didn't knew anything and just came out to defend the artist.
2. Hell, as previously said, I'm not an anti-fan, infact I quite enjoyed his character and acting in "Word of Honor". Would surely watch any other drama he would've a worked on. The first message was a message copied from Quora,,, so it might be what you said it is...but the second reply, its written by myself wholly..and do know what I wrote there,,, all of it's proof is available on internet. That's why I told the person to search about it. So calling it just what anti said is pretty wrong, bcoz all of it has proof.
4. Now this is a point I do agree with. The punishment was too harsh. In my previous message I said this too. He do deserve a second chance.
5. One of the point that alot of us seems to forget that even if he did all of this accidently(which is simply not possible), he will still be considered a ignorant person. And lets about that apology, doesn't anyone whos about to be fu*ked write this kind of apology? Doesn't look sincere to me. Heck if you consider this a sincere apology, Japanese have done this kind of apology too for their crime, but the whole world doesn't seem to accept it. About that sport car apology? so deleting the photo and "telling his fan to mind their own business", when he himself is the one clearly in the wrong is not what a public figure should be doing. What does he expect? people to praise him after that?
6. Actually I put that "Chinese are people too with emotions" because most of peeps seem to consider china bad just because US portray them as such. Yes China has been doing some shaddy things, but hey aren't all countries doing it? People consider Chinese bad because chinese support CCP, but can we really blame them for supporting CCP? China was a pretty shitty country less then a decade ago. Poverty, slums that what china was. It was CCP who brought the country out of that shithole situation and provided them such a high-class life, so can we really blame the Chinese for supporting this government.
7 I wasn't like comparing him to Kiss Wu, I just gave that point there to prove my point that you shouldn't be supporting peeps just because you consider them your idol. People should try to atleast search and know things before speaking.
8. Tbh his career in china is done. He will probably never be able to hit entertainment screens ever again. Maybe its for the good. As the Chinese Entertainment industry is getting their cheeks claps left and right by Chinese government. SO its better for him to move out to a different country try his luck there. With his face and acting skills, he'll surely get some roles, maybe not big ones but hey atleast we'll get to see him more.
Wow. Look at you blatantly spreading misinformation. Tell me, do all Chinese people know how the Yasukuni Shrine…
And here comes a fangirl(or a fanbaoy) who doesn't like to listen and just want to spit out whatever kind of counter messages she/he can come up with. Ah ok,,, Here I go:
1. Yes, almost all the Chinese people know Yasukuni Shrine atleast the ones like Zhang ZheHan. It's in their history book. Did you know that he loved to read books? On his Wiebo once he shared his read book list, containing "Kafka by the Sea" and "Assassination of the Knight Commander" both introducing the history of the Yasukuni Shrine in detail. Did you know he didn't just go there once but twice? Are you still gonna tell me, he didn't know what that shrine is?
2. "Where it is exactly located in Japan?", Ok lets talk about this now. Did you know Zhang ZheHan speak fluent Japanese? Ofcouse nothing wrong with speaking Japanese, but did you also know that there is a pretty big board at the gate clearly saying Yasukuni Shrine, "Don't Enter If you are not visiting the shrine"(and by "visiting" it means paying respect)? You know Justin Bieber entered that shrine unintentionally and later apologized as soon as he found out what that shrine is and what it means. Zhang ZheHan knew what that shrine is, still entered and didn't even apologize until later next year when people started to talk about it.
3. Did you also know that Zhang ZheHan once published a picture of modified sport car fully covered in Japanese Rising Sun Flag(this is the flag japan used during their peak period of invasions in 1800-1900s? When people pointed this out. he instead of apologizing deleted the post and said these people should mind their own business. Zhang ZheHan fall didn't just happan in a day, he has been in constant attacks for many years which became even more severe now because he became quite famous bcoz of "Word of Honor" and more and more Chinese knew about him. We all know the more popular you are the more your bad actions hurt you.
4. "Where is your proof that he has a history with associating with the Japanese far right?", Just a simple research would give you answer for this one. You know the wedding he attended at Nogi Shrine? First of all do you know the history of Nogi Shrine? It was constructed in remembrance of a General " Nogi Maresuke", who was once the commander during the Sino-Japanase war and became Governor of Taiwan afterward. Do remember Taiwan was part of china at that time. Do you know who he was with at the wedding? Mrs. Dai Wei. A person well known for her anti-Chinese remarks, taunt to Chinese by displaying artifact like "Nanjing Massacre". You can search about it and can see the proofs for yourself. It's all over the internet girl. A simple search will suffice.
4. "I will never understand you antis to hate a human being so much. But if you guys aren't being paid, you guys will simply just hate for free.".. I don't hate him, neither do I support him. I do believe he should be given a second chance. No human is perfect. Everyone makes mistakes, take a look at Justin Bieber, the dude given second chance and now is a pretty decent person as compared to the one in the past. But you know its not up to us to give him a second chance, because we aren't the one whose sentiment was hurt with his action, it was the Chinese. So it should be up to the Chinese to decide what to do with him. But alteast we shouldn't just straight up defend him when he's clearly in the wrong. Look at Kris Wu fanbase. The dude is in for rape of minors and stuff with pretty solid proof and his fanbase is still trying to defend him. People think Chinese aren't human, they don't have emotions, they don't have sentiments. Imagine if this thing happened in the west. What if Germany was still idolizing Nazis and weren't even apologizing for their crimes, how would the western countries feel? That's what Japan is doing. I'm a big Japanese fan. Love their culture and love Animes but i'm still saying bad stuff about them...why? because they are clearly wrong in this matter.
Hope this helps you to clearly understand not to become a hard core supporter of people whom you don't even know in real life.
Many of the peeps here don't really know what they are talking about...Here's a little explanation on the topic(copied from someone else)
The Yasukuni Shrine, which holds the ashes of Japanâs war dead since the Meiji Restoration, which in turn means the vast majority of the interred are those who died in WW2, including over a thousand of war criminals convicted as such during the Nuremburg Trials. It also holds the Yushukan, a museum that advances the Japanese equivalent of the Lost Cause narrative, wherein Japan was forced to war by the actions of others to contain its growth, and the dropping of the atomic bombs over Hiroshima and Nagasaki is presented in a vacuum, emphasizing only the suffering of the Japanese people, and devoid of any context.
Yasukuni is not merely a memorial to the war dead, it is a site that actively whitewashes Japanese atrocities and glorifies a period of militarism for which the modern Japanese nation-state has never meaningfully apologized. You may look through the list here and count just how many are actual meaningful apologies that actually acknowledge wrongdoing, and how many are half-assed âIâm sorry you feel that wayâ non-apologies.
Everyone with a modicum of education in China knows what that place is, and Zhehan not only visited unironically, he clearly knew it was wrong given that he sent legal notices to netizens who shared photos. Moreover, he has a history with associating with the Japanese far right, having attended the Nogi Shrine, dedicated to one Nogi Maresuke, who participated in the invasion of China during the First Sino-Japanese War and the Port Arthur Massacre, as well as having close ties with Dewi Sukarno. Furthermore, his management team have tried their best to prevent the pictures from circulating, indicating that he knew full well the meaning and context of those places.
So letâs not pretend this was just some young kid who didnât know what he was doing. This is, at best, the equivalent of a grown-ass adult who never outgrew his rebellious edgy teenage phase, and is only sorry that he is being held to the basic standards of decency as anyone else.
Frankly, if you commit acts that are offensive to large swathes of the Chinese population, you shouldnât be surprised that they donât want to have anything to do with you any more.
I generally enjoyed the first 2 episodes but it worries me that we once again have the overbloated tvn drama episodes…
from what I noticed this drama won't be just about main leads....every two episodes will probably focus on healing of one of the town's resident. Episode 3 and 4 will most likely be about that white hair old lady's healing(coz of preview). So, i can see it reaching episode 16 without being dragged too much. Well also no drama is prefect,so we gotta be prepared for some letdowns.
actually the reason for not being a season 2 is not because they want more sales for the books, its actually because the novel from which this drama is adapted got involved in a plagiarism case and eventually lost in court. So there that :( sad right.
I myself read the novel after finishing the drama lol. The first season itself was very famous in china during its air so imagine the season 2 which is actually the best part of the whole novel(yes I mean it, everything people want is in the 2nd part) it would have hit the top of drama.
fucking shouldn't have watched this rollercoaster bruh. The last few minutes where they showed all the enclosure of the story could have been done better and with a little bit of more detail to make it more impactful but overall still a 9/10 from me. fucking bawled my eyes on this one. The only other Chinese historical drama to make me cry this much was Princess Agent(especially episode 24 and 25 were fucking sad shiet)
Ah they pretty much messed up the ending, atleast for me it didn't really work out. What I wanted most from this drama was for people to rise up to protect their country, because its the job of people to protect their country not the job of one or two people like Yohan and Ga On. Also they didn't even show the aftermath of the last trial. What happened to that dream house project? How did they tackle that? What was people sentiment about the last trial? What did they think of Yohan after that? and alot of other things which would have had made the ending alot better were left out. In short, they dragged the middle of drama too much and became hasty in the end. Still overall the story and concept was good, 8/10 from me
Not matter what Ga On does, I don't think he can redeem himself in just a hour now, not for me atleast. And that professor, I knew from the start he was a sus character. I even left a comment here at the starting of this drama,: "All Board the Professor is sus train"
Watching this episode and nevertheless ending in one night definitely had me in a rollercoaster. From screaming…
Oh the nevertheless, the definition of a toxic drama. I tried watching that drama for supporting characters but unfortunately the main leads toxic relationship made me too uncomfortable to be able to bear it it. Dropped it at episode 5 lol
There has been some very good Chinese drama this year tho....Have you watched "You are My Glory"? or "One and Only"? These two are quite good and the story is interesting and isn't draggy either.
