Ikr !! At first I thought the story would be boring considering the many characters in it. But turns out they present it nicely, each character has its own story but doesn't reduce our FL dan ML's screen time. Also I really like Li Wei. She is adorable. 😍
The story is well written, perfectly produced with a good camera work, good editing, good cinematography, the background sound in each scene is suitable. In other words, this series is quite pleasing to watch.
I don't feel bored even though this series is quite long. The story is light, as some problems can be solved easily. The villain is also not too difficult to get rid of. Actually, I prefer story like this compared to some stories that run smoothly with almost no problems at all. It feels too flat for me. ✌🏻
Our ML and FL chemistry is also very adorable and pure. The friendship between the sisters is also very touching. ♥️ I totally recommend this

Wow, it's quite late for me to watch this series since it first aired. Actually I'm a fan of angst romance stories and I think this series is just right to be choose. Quite surprised by the storyline here. The characters are clearly different from the Korean or Taiwan Version. No matter the ML's mistakes was, I can't hate him like other people do. He already did what he was supposed to do imo. Since the first time they met, he has always been the first person to provide support for FL to be more confident and brave. He takes responsibility for Jia Xin and their future baby. He has also admitted his mistake to Anna. As head manager he is also professional with his job. He did everything he could to keep it all together. I can't imagine how tired he must be.
Regarding FL, sometimes her character frustrates me because of her timid. However, I can understand it why does she behave like that and often makes bad decisions even for her own life. But still , Sigh...
As the male second lead, Dylan's character is not too threatening to their relationship. He was too much like an angel who was always there for Jia Xin like all the time. Too unreal and not enough to make me excited by its presence. Hahah ..
Thankfully, this series ended with a happy ending even though it took quite a long struggle.

Regarding the romance scene between FL and ML, it's a typical slowburn imo. Adorable sweet like love at first sight. Even so, they are very professional with their work responsibilities. We can feel the longing they endure every time they have to be separated because of their work. We can feel how worried they are about each other. Still, they were able to keep their relationship healthy and mature.

Sandra Ma's natural acting caught my attention again after not seeing her for a long time. This is the first time I have followed Bai Jingting's work. His acting is quite good and cute at the same time. Especially when he wore a SWAT uniform and I was like DAYMMM.. this guy looks so fine huh ! The character I like the most in this series apart from ML and FL is Dr Shao. The way he plays his role is perfect and natural. He is very suitable as a senior doctor and I really liked the moment when Dr Shao was with Mi Ka. The chemistry between the two of them is very hard to ignore.
Several tense scenes are presented quite neatly and detailed. The story ends with an happy ending. I'm glad I was able to finish it and feel a little regretful about why I left it in the first place. ✌🏻
The story is light, doesn't have much conflict so it is very suitable for you to enjoy in your spare time. The ML is such an eye candy. Liked his character as a wise and mature young CEO in the right situation. But playful and carefree when he is with FL. The chemistry with FL is quite good even though it doesn't match my expectations. I don't know if this is just me, why does FL's expression always look worried all the time ? 😅
Overall, I recommend this series for those of you who like a love story of a CEO and his assistant.
The story is good but it makes me a little frustrated bcs FL has many enemies in various situations. Luckily they gave us FL with high intelligence so she was able to solve all problems almost cleanly.
The cinematography in this series is apparently my style. Every moment of the characters has its own story. Especially Shen Yu Rong's moment with Fang Fei followed by several flashbacks of their past when they still loved each other made my heart shrink for some reason. Even Fang Fei's moments with Shen Yu Rong were more profound than the moments when Jiang Li was with Xiao Heng. ✌🏻
There are very few romantic scenes in this series so don't get your hopes up too high. Also, I really hate princess Wanning bcs of her madness no matter what the reason. She shouldn't have chosen a life of hurting others like that. Kudos to her perfect acting, she managed to make me hate her until the end.
I haven't continued on to season two yet because I'm not ready to accept the ending. Congratulations to those of you who managed to survive until the end. You are incredibly strong.
For those of you who haven't watched it, I suggest to prepare your hearts. Don't ship Xiao Yao with anyone if you don't want to get hurt. Trust me.

Too late to watch this series after a year has passed. But I don't regret it because I could binge watch for 4 days to finish it. The story is written and produced very well. The sword fight scenes are a top notch . The characters play their roles perfectly. It's very rare for me to find a series where all the moments remain imprinted in my memory.
Waiting for it since the first trailer appeared. Binge watching after this series finished broadcasting because I'm not into on going team. 😄 The cinematography, color grading and costumes look perfect. Also I really like FL make up, she looks beautiful and seductive. However, she was too pretty to dismantle corpses at all times. Kinda it doesn't feel right imo. Haha..

In terms of story, I found several plot holes that were quite disturbing. Like how the face swap process occurs. How did second ML immediately know that FL was Chai Wei with just one look or we can say just by hearing the sentences she said. Woahh.. . In my opinion, her friend's reaction was too flat when she/he found out that Sangguan Zi was Cia Wei. I was like 😨 really ? That's it ? Are they okay with it ?? Also, Cia Wei's love story with ML would be better if there was more, so there would be more of a sense of loss when Cia Wei dies. ML's closeness to Cia Wei (Sangguan Zi version) is also too fast considering their bad relationship in the past.
Overall, this series is quite good to watch. But it may not meet some expectations .
