Episode 13 is the best episode of the whole drama in my opinion because it was just full of emotional scenes and…
I haven't cried the way i cried during ep 13 over a kdrama in quite a while. I'm talking full on tears, both happy and sad. It was a very emotionally riveting ep, especially since it was family stuff, and somehow that's always more emotional. All round one of my favourite episodes.
Not sure how i feel about her being pregnant but i suspect I'll warm up to the idea over time. Sobong was really sweet with Dam Hyang so there's no question she'd be a good parent.
But this makes the ending even more of a curiosity. Will they send Bong Hwan back? If so, before or after So Bong gives birth? Wouldn't there be a sort of weird disconnect if you gave birth to a child and then never got to see said child again? I think Bong Hwan might need some therapy if he does ever go back to the future lol. That said, I love the susoense of wondering about the ending, so I'm glad I'm watching this airing :D
The fact that the king's brother keeps going on and on about the king forgetting their mission because of So Yong,…
Prince byeongbyeong or whatever is a massive hypocrite. I was rooting for him and hwa jin at first bc they were kinda sweet, and i'm still rooting for them but now it's because they're both annoying enough to deserve each other
I didn't notice the comedy tag ksjkdksjd where did that even come from bruh
It'll likely be like The Fiery Priest, since the screenwriter is the same, and that drama juggled comedy and really dark themes and did a great job with it. That screenwriter does that very well, I for one am looking forward to it.
Not the biggest fan of thriller/dark dramas in general, but im def gonna give this a try for Yeo Jin Goo, if I could sit through My Absolute Boyfriend for him I can definitely watch this
I've wanted to one day draw a webtoon but after seeing this drama im having second thoughts lol. Was a fun watch, tho i couldn't stand the memory loss bits. Still wish we had seen do hwa, joo da, jin mi chae and su hyang at the end of the final ep in the new world :(
On a scale of 1 to 10, how scary is this? Im debating whether or not to watch it bc Lee Do Hyun is in it and i liked one of the webtoon artist's other works, but monsters and jumpscares scare me quite a lot.
RIGHT? Fantasy and supernatural dramas are my all-time favourites, I love them so much, but lately they keep just…
I really do think that platonic or familial relationships can be just as or even more satisfying to see in dramas. TOTNT was definiteky one of those cases lol. Very standar fantasy drama, tho ig it's a guilty pleasure for a reson, bc it's not like i didnt enjoy it :')
I'm on vacation too! I dont really have anywhere to go either lol, i've had lots of time to binge dramas. Lockdown really lends itself to drama binging, earlier this year i watched more dramas than i had in years bc i had distance learning and was at home all the time :') it was fun but unproductive lol, and it's happening again haha. All of those dramas are on my to watch list!!! So many good ones are coming out now, and i really want to watch them. But watching TOTNT while it was airing reminded me how much i hate watching unfinished dramas, so im waiting for them to end before watching. Im especially excited to watch Mr Queen, The Uncanny Counter, True Beauty and Cheat On Me. Sweet Home isn't the kind if drama I'd usually watch, but i might bc i read and rlly enjoyed one of the author who wrote the webtoon it's based on's other works, and bc Lee Do Hyun is in it lol. I ended up starting Extraordinary You now and I'm enjoying it quite a lot. It's interesting to see Lee Tae Ri again in a similar yet completely different role.

If TOTNT had made Lee Rang's story the main story and Lee Yeon's the side story, it would have been a lot better, I think. The romance was not enough to carry the whole 16 episodes, you can only use the 'i'll die for you' 'no i'll die for YOU' 'no I'LL die for you' thing so much before it gets irritating. I think you're right about second characters being more free bc they don't have to fit any molds, especially in romance dramas. You do get a lot of interesting second characters who would never have been allowed as leads, but do excellently as side characters.
Maybe the timing wasn't right for it those times? I've started and dropped good dramas that I should objectively love that I couldn't get into at all, for some reason. Maybe one day the timing will be right and you'll be able to finish it. I actually almost didn't watch it because I thought the premise seemed a bit offensive, but in the end i did, and I enjoyed it a lot. Vincenzo better be good, I've been waiting for it since the MDL page had just a title in like May. I think I might be approaching a slump now tho, because I'm about to finish 18 Again and I have no clue waht to watch next :')) So here's to finding new, interesting dramas to watch!!
Well to say its a time travel drama is not quite right. It is more of a body swap drama rather than time travel
Ah yes, time travel was not the best way to put it, true. Ig I was just thinking of time travel because watching it reminds me a bit of Go Back Couple, which is actual time travel

TOTNT's romance was good to being with, but the whole 'we're destined to be together no matter what bc we knew each other in our past lives' thing quickly gets old. They were sweet, objectively, but they started to get sickly sweet nearing the end with all those ~romantic~ montages lol. I think most people didn't like Rang immediately, which makes sense bc he was introduced as an asshole. I like his type of villain tho, so i was excited to see what he would do, even if he was a bastard. Of course, by the halfway point he had outclassed the leads in my heart completely lol. I think what makes side characters great is that it's harder to get tired of them because you don't see them as much as the leads, which also makes the times they do appear more precious? Idk lol, but i do remember spending most of Crash Landing On You waiting for the second couple to have their rare few minutes each ep I think Vincenzo has potential to be great! Given that the writer also did The Fiery Priest, which was both emotional, HILARIOUS and a pretty great drama (much like Chief Kim), i'd say he has a pretty good trend going in terms of his dramas. It seems the characters are usually the highlight, so i hope that's the same with Vincenzo
I can never watch time travel dramas and the like where someone has to hide their identity and does a terrible job of it, they stress me tf out bc i get INSANE secondhand embarrassment and my blood pressure skyrockets evERYTIME, but to see lee do hyun i will willingly suffer through the multiple heart attacks hhhh im three eps in and suffERING but it's worth it

I would watch a Jo duo spin-off no lie, i loved them! Overall TKEM was alright. Could have been better, of course, tho. I finished TOTNT because I waited a rlly long time for it, and bc I absolutely loved Lee Rang and Lee Yeon's relationship. Truly it would have been best if the drama had just been about the two of them imo lol. Im on the last episode of Legend of the Blue Sea now, and it's also lost quite a bit steam for me in terms of the main couple lmao. The side characters are the best part rn tbh. Idk why that always happens to me, I end up liking secondary couples and characters more instead of the leads lol
'Turn your brain off humor' is really the best way to put it lol!! It's so random that even if you did use your brain it wouldn't be of much help, and I think that's great. The drama by Chief Kim's writer is called Vincenzo!! It's coming out in February, and I couldn't be more excited :D Song Joong Ki is playing the ML, and the main genre is comedy, so it's already looking really good, not to mention the incredible writer :DD

Truth be told Jo Yeong was the highlight of TKEM for me (and Jo Eunsup too but stILL). I rlly wish they had spent more time on his character, bc he was my favourite by far. Their combined antics were hilarious and i'm forever mad they never met again in the finale :( TOTNT dropped the ball for me with that last episode tbh. When you have more than 3 unanswered questions at the end of a drama, it's not a strong ending imo, and I had half a page of unanswered questions from the final episode alone :/ At least TKEM answered most of my questions by the end lol. Overall i still enjoyed TOTNT tho, and the instrumental soundtrack is to die for. But yea, gotta keep hoping for good new content next year!!! There has to be at least one good one, right???
Pegasus Market is hilarious. There was no rhyme or reason to anything, but they still made it work. That kind of completely wack humour is great, i wish there were more dramas like that lol. But Chief Kim does remain my favourite, it was a different kind of humor but it worked sO well with the characters and the plot. The writer is super good, i'm really looking forward to his next drama in February
