Imagine having wonderful parents, one of whom is a cop and deciding to sell drugs cos of a girl. And the girl who your parents were also nice to did not dissuade you but joined you in the crime. I only feel sad for the parents. They do not deserve such betrayal.

So we can say the girl turned out to be downfall of the cop’s family. What a pity. No good deed goes unpunished. So sad that she joined the guy in a life of crime instead of talking sense into his head. Bunch of senseless criminals, the both of them. And what disappointing behavior from a cop’s son.

I love the ending for this drama. In other dramas the police officer will cover for his children/loved ones and help them escape justice. I love as the police officer stood by his principles and I love the punishment given by the court. I love that they did not escape justice.

She doesn’t have a big nose. Her features are perfectly proportioned.

The villain from The Rise of Ning finally gets the female lead in this drama? 🤣 I don’t know why I find this so funny.

I agree. I made a similar comment. The fight scenes here are real and quick. They are not doing the usual sword play dance that goes on and on without any physical contact that happens in some Wuxi dramas.

I just watched ep 11 and I love the male lead’s fighting. No unnecessary sword play or a ballet dancing like some Wuxia dramas. He did what he had to do and killed who he had to kill. No uncertainty or wavering. I saw blood and I was well satisfied. Even the ending. They killed off an attempted thief. This drama is not afraid to kill and I love it.

I love this drama and I love the female lead. She talks like a normal person and not in a childish or silly manner.
