This is the kind of fl I like. Mature, strong and badasss. Not childish or whiny.

I love as there was no major misunderstanding between the ml and fl. This fl was exceptional. I love her . And she is so beautiful. And Kudos to the person in charge of costumes. The fl dresses were exceptional.

And they made us fall in love with the supporting characters that died.

Currently rewatching this. I love how the emperor retained his good heart after so many years in a hopeless place. So many things I didn’t understand at first are making sense now that I am rewatching. When I first watched it i thought it was weird that he shed tears when he first met Wan yin but later I understood that he had waited for soooo long. And I love how free he was with her. I can imagine what it feels like to meet someone from the 21st century with modern thinking. Someone who treats him as a person not an Emperor.

There was a scene in Ep 1 when they were eating hotpot and he shouted ‘ Get out’ at the maids and the fl was applauding his acting skills since he had told her he just transmigrated same time as her. Now we know he wasn’t acting because he had lived as an emperor for years. Though i already suspected something was off with the background story he told the fl when he had that official killed in court without blinking an eye in episode 2.

I applaud this drama.

Thé Emperor is the one I hate the most. He is evil. I am trying not to judge him by modern standards but he is truly evil and brought up his sons the same way. He treats people like pieces of meat he can dispose of any second for the most flimsiest of reasons.

I hate the emperor the most. He is the evil that should be eradicated. His children are even the way they are because of him.

I came here to say this. I like my male leads handsome. I just can’t get past first episode.

I agree with you because there are many female leads that could have been chosen - The Grand Princess, the Astronomer or the Gold band guardian but instead they chose and immature childish character to be female lead.

I am skipping all the scenes with the female lead. She pisssing me off.

I came here to say this. That girl the fl named Flower is a very beautiful child and will grow up to be a beautiful woman. I couldn’t stop staring. As an African I love the facial features of both the Fl and Flower. It is not the typical Asian look. They look somehow mixed race.

Why can’t I stop crying 😭 It has been a while I have felt this way. That desire to change a script and make a character survive.

The fl can only be his concubine. Joseon would never allow a crown prince marry a slave. No Disney stories in Joseon.

Body swap stories are always weird to me especially between male and female. So the man will see the female’s private parts and vice versa??? I find it so cringe 😬
