Liu Yuning get a great role to show his acting skills. Dressed in black he is terrifing and ruthless. But being scared of the dark makes him human. He is perfect. Thank you Tencent for the series. Worth the 2 year wait.

I think he is mean he is just using her.She the mouse and he is the cat. He talks to his buddy like she is a Go chip. No real feelings. He has never said he even liked her. Has been planning to dump her from the first episode. The fun begins when he can NO longer use & control her.
What a mess 4 min of the couple at the end. Very badly written. Disorganized plot full of loopholes in drama. FL is quite good but not much for her to do but cry and be abused. This could have been so much better with the couple actually finding love and shared the journey. Every other female in the whole series but the maid and sister were villians. If the focus was on development of the couple and plot to them it could have really been great. The chemistry with the ML & FL never really got where we needed it to be We hated the emperer his mother the FL evil family the regue fake princess / assassin was the worst. Too many villians to count. The best part was the ending theme song the gorgeous FL and ML we wanted to find happiness much sooner in the plot. One chara c ter was fun was the young man who fell for the FL. He was great.I give it 6 / 10
