Ep 23-24 was tearjerking and it broke me :''( Wu Xie was so desperate. He knew he is weak himself but he did not hesitate a second to save his friends with all his power, Sunxi's acting and his facial expressions were so good TT It was so painful to see Xiao ge got hurt. We've never seen him in this state before???? TT+ I loved the scene where Wu Xie confront cox hendry after what he has done to him and his friends. *Chef's kiss* Perfect.
Ep 15 and 16... I literally cried because our Pingxie is so beautiful TT + it's much better when they just stay loyal to the novels. I hope next live actions will do the same :u Story is much more neat and understandable.

I agree with you in terms of budget and some of the actors does not fit their roles.(Especially Uncle San Xing, a very very wrong choice) But we can not really compare it with Tltr :/ Tltr took 2 years to make. It was a high quality drama with high budget. Also, the timeline is different from Tltr. Wu Xie is much more younger and inexperienced compared to Tltr Wu Xie. So considering all of these it's still a good adaptation for me and I think it's better not to compare.
This season is much more focused on Pingxie I love it :3 They even added "If you disappear at least I will remember you" :'3 Ahh my Pingxie heart can't take this :') I loved Yu Liang's Qi Ling in Sand Sea and now in Ultimate Note. He suits for the role really well :3 Joseph is such a cutie pie and I love his acting :3 I'm so happy that we got 2 adaptations of Dmbj this year :') Hopefully there will be more.

This drama is gold uwu It made me cry a lot especially ep 5 and 6 but it's so good TT Depressing but it gets better :') And Queen songs makes it x100 better. Daichi's acting is so good as well as other actors.

I can watch 3 episodes in one sit and I know it won't be enough for me and each ep lasts only 30 min :(( + I don't like waiting. But I agree on the part of excitement. I will probably watch it when it reaches 10 ep.
It was sooo tragic like wtf? But Yuki as Zera was sexy af. All the actors did a great job. As for the story, i think it's japanese version of Frakenstein but bloodier lol
Best drama ever.Period. Sometimes it gets boring because its too political but the story , characters and acting is what kept me watching. It's truly one of a kind drama.
It was a good drama for sure.It's exciting,story is complex and good, acting is 10/10 and cgi was decent.I loved the characters and their relationships. Especially Sangsang and Ning Que's :') They were so soft. Ngl I wanted sangsang to leave Ning Que and become powerful at some point. Book addict and Ning Que was a good pair, too :') It would be great if they get married. But yeah, they decided not to do that :v Anyways, the story was developed so slowly especially around ep 30-40. I remember falling a sleep while watching it lol. The one thing that I am really mad about is that it's name is Ever Night,right??? But they only said eternal night is coming for frikkin 60 episodes and give us nothing. Bruh. :v + I don't know about the novel but they ruined Long Qing's character development imo. I would loved to see him become powerful not by absorbing a powerful cultivator but by finding his own path, his redemption arch would've been great if they had done that.
