I think kshow was subbing the newer ones and anyhowsubs had started to do the earlier ones, but since they've been switching between subbing IC and RM it's been kind of a slow process.

I probably wouldn't believe it if they showed up at my house, I'd probably think I was hallucinating and close the door on them, lol! And then when I realized my mistake, I'd ask them to sign all my stuff as well XD I wish the US had variety shows like theirs, then I wouldn't be bored watching tv!

Since I haven't watched a whole lot of WGM, it's hard for me to say. I don't know if the mc acts are scripted, but I do think they push the couples into the first kiss, skinship, things like that. I'm pretty sure the events are all scripted.

Aw, I have to wait until 2015? Well, that's okay, I have a lot of other shows I have to catch up on. I'm definitely adding it to my list though!

My mother watches k-dramas with me. My dad watched City Hunter, I think he'd watch more though if it was dubbed, he hates reading.

WGM is scripted, all variety shows are scripted in some sense, even RM. I do think it's a neat idea though even if they don't become a couple because then at least they have a new friend. Did you see the pictures from the press conference? Some of them are pretty funny!

From what I've seen from Real Men, it looked pretty interesting. I wish they'd come out with subs faster so I could watch more. I think someone is subbing the newer episodes where Henry and K.Will appeared, but I wish they'd go back and sub the earlier ones as well.

<3 I agree, it was a really sweet episode all around. You'd probably like the Going Going Gone episodes where they're running around the country completing tasks for regular people. That's one reason I like IC, they do a lot of good deeds.

I haven't watched Rich Man, Poor Woman yet since I'm not the biggest fan of Shun, so I don't know what to do. Like you said, a lot of people have told me it's great, so I dunno. I may give it a try eventually.
I know exactly what you mean about people talking about hot guys in shows! I must be blind too, cause I don't agree with them a lot of the time. Maybe I just have weird tastes...yeah probably, lol!

I like watching the idol shows also since you get to see more of their personalities come through, they're usually such nerds, lol! <3 But that's what I love about them!

I think most t-dramas are a wild ride, it just depends on whether it is worth it or not, lol!

It's hard for me to know what to do about ratings because I do want to warn people, but then I think maybe I'm just the one weirdo that didn't like it and I shouldn't ruin it for everyone else, I dunno. As for Nail Shop Paris, I've heard of it and heard it was bad, so I deleted it from my ptw. If you started it and liked it, keep going, you never know! When you decide it's not good anymore, then drop it.

As for Running Man, if you'd like to give it a try I could recommend some of the better episodes. Episode 74 is probably my favorite!

Yeah, that's kind of why I'm hesitant to start another t-drama. I either really love them or really dislike them. MARS is probably my favorite drama of all time and Autumn's Concerto is probably my least favorite. I couldn't even finish it. So it's always hit or miss.

XD That sounds exactly like something my friend would say. I agree though, it is kind of sad. I just don't rate the dramas I drop so that I don't bring down the score for people that do like them.

I should try Hello Counselor and Super Idol Chart Show and pick back up Return of Superman. I also might try more of Real Men, at least what I can find subbed. As for WGM, I'm not much of a fan, but since Heechul will be on it soon....XD <3

I know! But I think he retired because his wife was sick. Now that she's better he came back to do the movie. I'd recommend not watching the anime until after, so that you won't compare. Ciel was one of the main characters and I'm sad to see that they replaced him.

I watch variety shows on a weekly basis too, since I watch Running Man and Infinity Challenge, but I'm wondering if I should find a new one that I could just marathon and forget dramas for awhile. Last time I was in a slump I watched all of Family Outing and caught up on RM and IC and it helped immensely. Which variety shows do you watch?

I've noticed that j-dramas tend to focus more on friendship where k-dramas focus on romance. Take for example Hana Kimi. In the japanese version, it shows a lot of the rivalries and friendships of the 3 dorms. While I haven't finished To the Beautiful You, I heard it mainly just focused on the romance between the main characters. So both countries make nice dramas, it just depends on what you're in the mood for!

I am a sucker for Hiro <3 I am both excited and nervous for Kuroshitsuji. I'm excited to see Hiro again, but have a feeling they're going to kill the movie. Not having Ciel in the movie already ruins it for me.
When I first came across MARS, I thought it odd that it wasn't a j-drama since it's based off a manga, but now I'd have to agree with you. I don't think I could see it as a k- or j-drama either. I don't think they could handle it well.

Meteor Garden was my second. I really should watch more t-dramas, I've hardly watched any. XD Yeah, k-dramas are taking over like crazy even on this site. But I have noticed that it's easier to get someone into asian dramas if you start them off with k-dramas, or at least it's easier for me, lol!

I don't know if it'll be one of my favorites yet, but it definitely drew me in. I watched almost the whole first season in one sitting, lol! I can't imagine waiting for subs, I'm already having a hard enough time waiting each week for Emergency Couple and Shitsuren Chocolatier.

Do you have a genre preference? For starters I'd recommend Bara no nai Hanaya, Beautiful Life, Densha Otoko, Liar Game, Love Shuffle, and Zettai Kareshi. If none of these look appealing I have other suggestions. I'd also like to recommend MARS if you don't mind a t-drama.
