Yep. I think Cyrano is Cyrano because it talks about falling in love beyond looks. Such beautiful concept: love people for their souls. To make a superficial turn is not a smart idea if you can't justify it well enough.

And with Sierra Buergess, she looked toxic to me hahaha it would be one Cyrano adaptation I wouldn't mind they not ending up together. But as you said, they kept it so not that bad anyway

Or maybe deliver the Cyrano story.. with Cyrano winning the girl. Dunno, maybe

True, she's so talented. It's been a long while since I liked the characters so much. They are refreshing and a drama that doesn't have all the clichés in the book. My fav 2020 drama

Hahaha I agree. Readers on Song of Ice and Fire got it worse than us. For myself it's been years since I got so involved in a drama like in this one, but seeing how it got bad writing from the start help me cope with it. I'm currently watching Run on and I love love it, It's my rebound. Very well written characters, a nice FM, a nice ML, no love triangle so far and nice SML and SFL. Cannot ask for more. Hope they won't do any crazy thing by the end of the drama.

It's a shame Startup changed the last episodes. The bad writing was so obvious by that moment. 2 different dramas in one. And talking about it, maybe your theory that they changed it to a Dodal because of the low ratings from the first episodes is not a bad one. Who knows.

I didn't get SLS in True Beauty (and I rarely do). Startup is a case apart as the way it was built (SL backstory etc, weak ML) makes me think it was a result of the writer not deciding on what to do

What I liked most about KSH is his acting. So so good. When he smiles when granma is asking him if he's having a hard time... man, he's such a gem. He's cute, handsome and all, but it's obvious he's been working hard on his craft all his life. Can't wait for his next project.

I think at some point DS was supposed to "grow" and complete his character arc by letting go what wasn't his to begin with: DM. It's this kind of potential that makes me sad haha
