They did SS dirty after the revenge arc. She was never depressed. She loves hin still but she was determined to…
Disappointed too. Their personalities changed so much after the 5 years I didn't like CSS anymore. She was so funny and practical, how could they make her into a depressed lifeless being?

As a novel reader, disappointing. There are some bits that were really well done, but it was missing more of the…
I mean, I get the regrets and all that, but it's like they became two complete different people. Like where is CSS we fell in love with? And lby being determined and scheming was his thing. I don't like them now. It's true that we all mature but not to a point where you we become someone else. It's an ok ending to a superb drama, but not convincing enough for me. They could have spend a few more episodes to make her trust him again slowly. Trauma from thinking she lost him its a no no for me

I loved it, and I loved the angst, but the last few episodes felt rushed to me. And i'm sad about it. Although…
Too rushed. Even more than I thought they would. They needed at least 10 episodes in reuniting them and make us understand why they got together. I wanted to see the scenes from the book but they took almost all of them out. Also LBY character didn't pursue her in the endand their personalities changed too much. It was an ok ending but not as good as the rest of the drama. They could have take out a lot of other scenes to make room for the ending but they did the opposite

I expected to see the scenes from the book. A disappointing ending as expected. The main problem I found is the complete change of personality in the main characters. Like they are now different persons. Loved this drama btw. One of the best

same here
Story of Ming Lan and The brocade and the sword have similarities, but the first one has better cinematography and I prefer it in general.

These are the best dramas I've seen similar to Love like the galaxy.

Similar to this drama (with smart female leads) are: Story of Ming Lan (same author), Story of Yanxi Palace and The brocade and the sword. If you haven't seen any of these I'd recommend them in this order.

The story of yanxi palace has different costumes (different era) and is more about the royal palace. The other ones are more about noble families etc.

I'd recommend the following dramas, with smart female lead: Story of Ming Lan (same author), Story of Yanxi Palace and The brocade and the sword.

If anyone knows another one, pliz comment. I'm a big fan of these kind of stories.

Objectively speaking, what do you guys think of WL's acting? LBY is a really difficult role to portray. He is…
I feel the same way. In the scene where CSS was crying, I found his acting a little bit off. When he is supposed to be cold, he does a really good job tho. Hard to find actors with that deadly gaze. He lacks a little in the emotional scenes. Let's see how he acts next episodes.

ZLS is so good at acting tho. Her candid expressions elevate the quality of the drama. I saw here before but maybe the roles were different, I never imagined she could act like this.

Thanks for the director for doing such great job. He was able to get the best out of the actors indeed.

So here I am agonizing about the uocoming revenge arc. Based on what i’ve read here, the trailers, and the novel,…
I read lot of arguments in favor of LBY but I still can't be on his side. I imagine what CSS has to go through after how loving and supportive she was to him, only for him to abandon her. I want the forgiveness to be convincing, but given the fact there's very few episodes after the killing, not sure how they're going to do it.

In the book even LBY deeply regrets not waiting a few more years before taking revenge, so I don't get how people can defend his actions.

From the trailer, episode 48 is LBY's descending into madness. The way he speaks and even looks at CSS is giving such a dark vibe. CSS's love wasn't enough for him I guess.

I wouldn't mind an ending when she ends up with YS. I mean, Ming Lan (same author) loved another guy first. If it's like the trailer, LBY treating her with coldness and indifference, I rather have her marry the second lead and learn something like the LY wife learnt. That a man is better to be kind.

I know LBY apologists might disagree, but seeing the trailer my heart broke for CSS.

Does anyone know who is the one Qu Lingjun ends up marying?
wasn't he a bad guy? why did LBY said he's a good person? The moment he shot him I thought he was corrupt and not a good person

LOL ikr. Why women gotta adopt this maladaptive maturity and be the bigger forgiving person? In soooo many Chinese…
True. If I were her friend or sister, I'd def tell her it's a bad idea to go back to him after all he did. His willingness to let her go is a lil bit disturbing after practically forcing her to marry him and making her fall in love with him. But what I did get to maybe accept a little bit their reconciliation are these 2 things:

1. The ML is a kid. Remember, brain develops til 25 y/o. When the emperor pushed him in Ch.41, I realized how immature hi is. He looked like a kid mad at his father. So yeah, his impulsiveness is also because of age. Hope he learns to let go of his past and manage his emotions better. (but knowing from the book how he relentlessly pursue CSS to take him back, maybe not so much)

2. CSS has the right to forgive LBY after all he did to her. I mean, she could choose to be with the man she still loves knowing he hurt her in the past and maybe he will also do it in the future, or choose to heal and find someone else. It's completely her decision. We, as viewers, find it unfair and want to get some kind of justice for her, but it's still her decision. I believe the true love from the galaxy is the one CSS has for LBY.

PD: LBY was born under a lucky star or something, given how easy is forgiven by CSS and the emperor.

Just started watching this week's eps.. The killing of aides was intense man.. Gave me goosebumpsCan't say that…
I don't think they deserved it per se, but they were inciting the 5th princess behavior (in more than one occasion she mentioned to her mother the things they said about the consort etc.). So I get why the king killed them. I don't agree with it, but imagine you're the king and your daughter is behaving like this. Ho chose to not only correct her, but also cut the root of it.

If I were a noble in this drama I would just avoid all the men who aren't related to me to avoid being accuse…
Wasn't everything exactly like this in lot of countries in the past? Being seen with a man without a chaperone would be the end of your reputation. Jane Austen era was like this and not too long ago. I was surprised that in this drama there was lot of time they were alone and nothing happened to they reputation. Maybe because it's a drama, irl would havebeen worse
