The drama feels like a direct, scene-for-scene adaptation of a Wattpad story, with minimal effort to tailor the narrative for a live-action format. The storyline follows the original source material too closely, making it feel more like a reading experience than a visual one. Characters engage in lengthy internal monologues that are more fitting for a novel than a drama, making their actions and thoughts feel unnatural and overly scripted. It’s as if the scriptwriters didn’t take the time to adapt the dialogue and narration to suit a visual medium. A more thoughtful approach—such as rewriting certain lines or restructuring scenes—would have made the adaptation feel more authentic and engaging for viewers. While faithfulness to the source is appreciated, an adaptation should also reflect the strengths of the medium it’s being translated into.
I watched because all the actor from GMMTV is here. I hope this will be U-Prince part 2. Turns out: 1. the storyline is not well written. Is it dark? No. Cringe as a school character. 2. the plot is not plotting. 3. they spend too much money on the artist, not on research before making the series. 4. the setting is on current year. if you cannot have internet connection, you can always make a pinned location on google maps everywhere. 5. there is not enough reason the jungle and the club is restricted. The club is so empty and not luxurious at all. 6. the male character is almost the same. even the twins not different in character at all. 7. maybe I watch too many web drama with similar plot, but this is the worse build up.
I like the GEN 6 character but since the main character is RUN, they have little screentime now in EP13&14. I want to see Dew & Jane in another series together. Their chemistry is overflowing. But I know GMMTV like Nani & Film more, so they get another series together (Wednesday Club)
I actually really like the 1st season. In TGG until ep 5, i don't think it's better than the 1st season. I don't feel excited until really want to know next episode like what season 1 did. The new characters are annoying and not so stable
