Okay, I'm at ep. 14 right now.. and the last 2-3 episodes I found myself ffwd through all the "illness talk"…
Actually, you are right. Maybe it was my impression when I read about the references you make to the episodes but it's just because I've watched it. Again, you're right. Sorry ;)
I'm not a drama expert but I can honestly say that after I watched "The greatest love" and "The Master's Sun" I really wish all of the dramas were so perfect. Maybe I have a crush on Gong Hyo Jin too because I cannot believe how awesome she is! jaja. Next: "It's Okay, That's Love".
Personally, I don't see a problem with the age difference... at least not in a Korean drama. They are really carefull with everything. I've first watched Kim Sae Ron in "High School - Love On", she was 14 at the moment, and her teenage romance with Nam Woo Hyun (who was 23) was portrayed very well. There was not real kissing but a lot of hugging, holding hands, staring at each other really close, etc... and it was cute and nice. Nothing morbid. I will definitely not feel uncomfortable with this. Plus, I think KSR is amazing and I enjoy her acting very much.
I will rationally praise the drama for a lot of things I liked: well developed characters, very good acting, emotional/entertaining story... bla, bla, ba... BUT I just have to admit at this point I NEED a happy ending...I've cried so much the last few episodes that if the writers want to pull some kind of miracle to save this girl, I will accept magic, religion, anything! This is too heartbreaking :(
Greatest Quote ever, when Ji Hoon told his father, "I think that scary world out there, will never be as…
So true.I was waiting for Ji Hoon to finally confront his father but I didn't expect something so good...the sad look in his face saying those simple yet harsh words to his father...Simply great.
BEST DRAMA EVER. Definitely, the drama (comedy/romance) I enjoyed the most so far. It has it all. Usually, every drama has a weak spot, something you would have changed, something boring, or an episode you would have deleted... it does not happen with The greatest love. You simply want to continue to follow the story after ep 16.
Cha Seung Won and Gong Hyo Jin are so perfect together that this time you truly wish their couple was real. There is something that makes them different from other drama couples. This drama is a PERFECT 10.
Loved your article! :) And... I must say that I enjoyed D-Day a lot and found Dr. Lee Hae Seong adorable. Also, I'm saving Kill me, Heal Me because after I watched Secret I just knew that I will definitely marathon the next drama with Ji Sung jaja.
I'm waching it and LOVE it so far. I don't know why I waited so long to start this. Super funny, entertaining and clever drama. Tae Yang and Joo Goon couple is just perfect: their moments together are not so full of cliches and I think that's why the cute/romance parts work perfectly. And... I loooooove the interactions between Yi Ryeong and Kang Woo. They are really funny too :) PLUS: the music cannot be more perfect!
FINALLY she's dead lol. Been waiting for this moment. 42 episodes it happened. Too long. Anyways now the story…
That's exactly why I'm so mad! And as much as I enjoyed watching Song Jong Ho in the main role... now the fate of his character is also part of those wrong expectations.
