If you take away the last 15 mins, this is a wonderful story, a romantic & emotional journey between 2 guys who over time allow there feelings to develop from friendship into something more. Acting from everyone was great, I thought Nuer's parents were brilliant, more BL/gay series need people like them and the locations and scenery was georgous. Those last 15 mins really do leave a bad taste in the mouth though, it's just so totally unexpected and unnecessary. Now I know where Make Our Days Count got there inspiration from (maybe).
Nice show for the first 7-8 episodes, the actors were good and the story was actually very watchable, however the unresolved/sad ending was disappointing and the sister-in-law got on my nerves.
The chemistry between Faigun & View was amazing they looked so good together & the OST was also really good. The story was the weakest part for me, the whole- I'm not worthy of you-really got on my nerves, she was an actress not royalty. The show was at it's best when the leads were getting cosy and being cute together, all in all a very nice little drama.
I was genuinely surprised at how much I enjoyed this series. Mild & Off were absolutley brilliant together there comedic timing when together was spot on and actually I don't always like Thai comedy but I thought this was really funny a lot of the time. The story was short and sweet but always watchable & all the side characters were fun, Neo & Top had more to do in this series and played the mother/son dynamic really well. The other Girl Next Room shows were very good but this went to another level a really fun entertaining watch, highly recommended!
The first 1-5 episodes were light and fluffy & enjoyably so but episode 6 it took a dark turn, became very serious & I thought it was outstanding. Mook's acting was so believable in what must have been a difficult role, Toy/Fluke/Guy were also very good, they story was OK I didn't really like the constant back and forth in time between high school & uni but in the last ep everything gets explained and the conclusion is very well handled. A very good little series that in the end deals with a serious issue and does it very well, recommended.
Well made series with some really good and realistic mature/adult relationships stories. Acting was on the whole very strong & the production looked great, the pacing and direction were on also on point for me and there were enough twists and turns in the story to hold you attention throughout the 16 eps. I really liked the Amm/Cris story it was a good representation of a relationship and a mental health story plus Bew and Music had really good development going from slightly shady to strong powerful women I loved them both. However there were a couple of problems for me, as the series progressed some of the main characters became very annoying and I started to dislike them- Boom/Tor all they did was bicker, Boyo I never really warmed to this season & Earth I love Singto but he became quite cold and uncaring I get he was going through stuff but the way he treated Stud I didn't like. Then there was Pluem sorry but I thought he was badly miscast as Locker I never believed him as a rich playboy, and don't hate me but I thought some of his acting was bordering on awful at times. On the whole though I really enjoyed this show not as good as season one but hugely watchable, recommended.
Interesting movie about an issue not dealt with openly in conserative society's. The comedy was OK but I do feel it would've worked much better as pure drama as I felt the film was at it's best when the drama came to the forefront. Acting was very good, the mother especially was I thought outstanding, I preferred the 2 female characters as I thought there story was better, Wu Gang seemed to think about everyone else before Sam and I never really warmed to his character. That said this is a very enjoyable film and the ending is actually quite sweet and tender, recommended.
Good little Korean short only 17 mins but acting was really good and story was cute. Maybe next time don't give the cameraman alcohol before filming wait until it's all over, I think he was getting the shakes, lol!
I thought it was brilliant, albeit with a few petits défauts...
Jane was amazing in that ep, very emotional given what happens to her. I don't think acting doesn't get enough credit in a lot of Thai shows some of it is excellent
If you're looking for a fast-paced, action packed, well acted series with 2 actors that have amazing chemistry together you've found it. This has got to be one of the most original BL series ever, the mystery and thrills keeps you on the edge of your seat and wanting more, the motto of this show be trust no-one as believe me when watching you wont know who to trust. Max/Tul are and always have been brilliant together they seem to just click when there on screen but all of the performances are great, Inspector M stood out for me he looked great and was believable as the tough but honest cop. I had high hopes for this series and it really did deliver, well done to all involed, one of my all time favourites now, cannot highly recommened this enough.
Well made, good well rounded characters, a nice story and the tension between Win & Jaime was excellent throughout. The ending was poor for me though, the build up throughout the series was handled well but to end it like that just felt a bit disappointing to me. Hopefully they'll make a 2nd season to complete the story.
OMG!! What the hell was that. A good idea of making a BL horror story but the real horrors here were the acting, pacing & the lack of a decent director. Scenes just go on & on & on & on with absolutely nothing happening, in ep 4 or 5 when Mo goes missing half the episode is just everyone standing around shouting his name it's just so bloody stupid and as for that being a training camp why the hell was there AIRPLANE'S in the grounds plus that building looked abandoned. To fill 8 (very long) 45 minute episodes the director just dragged out this threadbare story, it could've easily been over in 2 or 3 30 minute eps, I think me and everyone else who finished this deserve a medal.
The one thing I really liked about this series happened at 47:03 in episode 8, it finished!!! Well onto the next show it can't be as bad as this (here's hoping).
Good acting and well made indie drama, however story is very slow paced and at times a little boring. It's watchable enough just don't expect all the stories to get tied up by the end as nothing is really settled by the time the credits.
Given the rating, 7.0 at time of writing, I wasn't expecting much but I really liked this. Yes it's low budget & had the feel of a 1st project for all involved but this is a very watchable and cute series. I agree with the other reviewer who said the Tos/Tin story was similar to HIStory2 but it was still good as was the main couple Cho/Gavin who's sweet story moved along nicely. I was really surprised how much I enjoyed this little series, recommended.
