What kinda of war is this? One side has 6k soldiers, the other sude has 70k
It's the defense layout. First, XZ just took a small army to bait the other one in case of a backlash. With Sui in his hands, they were safe at the top mountain, easier to observe all of it from there. The enemy couldn't attack because of that. Plus, they were at the top of the mountain which had natural defenses. You can see the ground and plateau elevations in the scenes. The enemy army was very dispersed around the bottom. To join together, it would have taken days. And to attack together at the same time, it will have taken alot of communication skill and precise planning, which are not their forte. Let's say if they did all that, they would have died easily. Because if you are at your last people, you only need to start a fire at the forest at the bottom. Everything will go to hell, but you win.
Merge or invent characters..but good thing they make it “nicer”than novel to pass censorship?
Not just the censorship, but not to scare the watchers and the sponsors. During the SotKP, ZLH "dark" character sparkled alot of debate. A good portion of people said it scared them. Even ZLH had to apologize about it and that he will self-reflect. Which he had no reason to apologize, it's the character not him. I will never forget that moment. Literarly some people don't want him to break that perfect image they have of him in their mind. Due to that, we will not see him in these roles for a while. And it's kind of a no-no for a "gray" character to be the ML in a mainstream/idol drama and it's society.
im korean but kdramas these days need to up their game… fr 🥲 why is it that kdramas these days fail to capture…
Because the director does an amazing job! He micro manages every little details. The facial expressions, the brows, the eyes, the mouth, the hands, everything! He knows how to communicate that to the actors, works with them and they listen.
Can't believe he looks so calm during all that! WOw huge respect
I hope not. These things shouldn't be normalized. But who am I to judge? I am from a country who doesn't behave like that. People would probably be arrested if they don't respect the security mesures.
This is why majority of dramas need to have less episodes so that they can focus their efforts on them instead…
Thank you for reading it. They do matter. Most directors treat them fairly. Some production houses even hire them permently. But they still suffer. It will take alot of time before things get better. They are getting better.
People: Obsessed about the hands on window scene Me: Obsessed about the maids at their dinner break listening to all that. So me right now. Thank you for representing us on screen production team!
Ep 32 im confused when did Yan Zeng see the letter that said her father was the supposedly the traitor???? He…
We are not sure yet. Maybe it is a production mistake, a missing scene or they will explain it in a later episode. (Something like the guy who read the letter told him because he is being asked to spy. Or he found the letter himself.)
One thing that’s really bothering me is people saying he “forgot his revenge” and is just simping for the…
He did not forget his revenge. He is a very patient and very smart and with the right people around him to stay focus. Plus dark or not, we will have the same ending. I am with you.
Please let us people who came from the novel, who waited almost 2 years since the announcement of the adaptation to see our ML in all its glory. Imagine the feeling we had when we knew it will be ZLH. So happy! Just some of us are disappointed and we want to express it that's all. Most of us we are not saying we are unhappy about the adaptation, just disappointed due to x and y reasons.
In the novel, even though it's dark, it had alot of love. XZ was driven by it, it's just that the dark parts were his behaviors. Same with the other main characters. I get it, they want to keep the dark behavior for the bad characters just like they want in an ideal real life society.
Every commun defense position. Even to this day.
