She loves him. How hard is that to understand? She’s furious with him, but she can’t help herself from loving…
I totally agree with you, I feel the same way about the situation too. It's not that we don't understand her but just can't ignore the fact that she behaves as if she's completely consumed by hatred.

You are discussing matters solely from her perspective. I somewhat agree with her viewpoint. It must have been incredibly painful for her, and it is not like I don't get why she acts this way. However, it's clear that her hatred has clouded her judgment, preventing her from seeing things rationally. I don't think it's going to be easy to achieve what you hope for. I mean, just resolve their issues and be together with a clear conscience because there is just too much at stake for him. He will never truly open up to her unless he reaches a point where he wholeheartedly trusts her.

On Captivating the King Feb 10, 2024
She is such a hypocrite, you know? Honestly, her self-righteous behaviour was pretty disgusting already, and now she's throwing herself at him. I'm at a loss for words. I get that she doesn't know the whole truth and has a sentimental side. But seriously, if she wants revenge or whatever, fine, but she shouldn't try to act all righteous. The country is tranquil and steady, and the king refrained from annihilating entire clans, which is typically what a person who usurped the throne would do, even though she argues that he stole the throne. I don't know what to say about her justification for trying to make him dethrone aside from the fact that he kind of stole it. And one of the reasons he got into that mess in the first place was because of her. She's also partially responsible for that conspiracy. Her revenge plot is starting to look more like some petty love-hate thing at this point.

I just can't wrap my head around why people in this drama world would underestimate this king. In my opinion, this guy is downright terrifying. He can effortlessly delve into other people's thoughts, while others can't even begin to comprehend what's going on in his head. The way he carefully chooses his words in certain scenes to gain insight into the overall situation sends shivers down my spine. He's definitely not someone you want to mess with. Anyway, If he allowed her to stab him in the crucial moment, and then she would finally uncover the truth and understand why he acted the way he did in those specific situations. Now, that would be one hell of a show, right?

Just for a moment, I thought Chang Yu Qing would lose it and hunt down the murderer just like Achilles did. That particular scene had the same vibe as when Achilles's cousin was killed in Troy (2004) movie.

Man, that dude who follows Amai is seriously starting to grate on my nerves. Can't they just kill him and get over with it already? By the way, isn't Xiu Er just adorable? That scene where she jumped onto Amai was so cute.

I'm totally lost right now. I have no idea what just happened. It's just confusing, but at the same time, it's kind of intriguing too. I don't know what to make of it!

Last week, I commented that he could still be alive. It was pretty obvious at that point, so it's hardly can be taken as a spoiler.😉 Anyway, I get the point. 👍

Done, but I don't think it has any spoilers, except for my opinion.

Title A Shop for Killers Spoiler
Man, I was freaking right, our dude is still alive...

So, let's talk about the drama. Besides the fact that they kept showing the same scene from different perspectives over and over again, I think everything else was pretty good. They need to realize that this isn't a video game. If it were, and they kept replaying the scene with different perspectives and I could control the character, I'd probably be totally hooked. But here, it just got a little boring watching the same thing with all these little details thrown into the scenes each time. In addition, Jung Ji Ahn was such a killjoy most of the time, except for a few scenes.

Just to be clear, I'm not bashing this drama or anything. I genuinely had a great time watching it. Nevertheless, it could have been even better if they had added more details and side plots into the storyline instead of just repeating the same scene over and over again.

this whole "I can't be with you because you broke up with your arranged fiance you never loved to be with me weeks…
Yeah, yeah, that's totally true. But from what I can see, it's exactly how she should have acted when faced with a completely unfamiliar situation. We can't forget that she is a person who has been manipulated, controlled, and used by Soo Min for over 20 years. If she acted like a regular person with just a few years, it would seem too fake. Just think about it. If she had the ability to fully grasp the situation and make appropriate decisions, there wouldn't be any drama to watch. So, throughout the drama, we witnessed how she improved herself with the knowledge she had about the future. It was like she was half cheating and half working because she knew what was going to happen. Now, she is facing a problem that is completely unknown and new to her. Isn't it normal for her to chicken out from the problem rather than face it head-on with her personality? That's why I said it's too early to judge the situation. We can't expect her to behave like an ordinary person would. I think Ji Hyuk also understands this, which is why he is giving her space instead of pressuring her to sort it all out.

this whole "I can't be with you because you broke up with your arranged fiance you never loved to be with me weeks…
I believe it's because of her trauma, not some trust issues. It's gotta be really challenging for her to lower her defences and be with him. And now this happened, so she's hesitating and everything. I think it's too early to jump to conclusions about it, even though I can't deny that it annoys me...

Man, the last few episodes were so satisfying, but with today's episode, I'm just fuming! I can't even put into words how annoyed I am. But I have to admit, whoever came up with this plot really knows their stuff. They've got everyone hooked. It's no wonder the ratings are skyrocketing with every single episode!

Amai can be a real troublemaker sometimes, and she has this knack for getting under people's skin. Which often leads to conflicts between parties. Additionally, She acts on her impulses and does whatever she wants, which can result in favourable or unfavourable outcomes. Because of this, it gives off the impression that she would have been better off as a military strategist in the army rather than a soldier.

Title Doctor Slump
Jeong Woo is quite the guy. This dude is no joke. When you're going through tough times and feeling troubled, it takes a lot to make someone else happy. It might seem simple, but trust me, it's far from it. Moreover, it's really really nice to how he handles various situations so appropriately. The slow-paced romance in this drama is also perfectly balanced with the plot. They have a good understanding of each other, and even though they have their fair share of disagreements and a shared past, but they also find common ground when it comes to their opinions. The way they genuinely care for each other truly makes this drama so entertaining.

The movie seems overly emphasize romance and their relationship, but there's actually so much more to it. If you liked the movie, I highly recommend checking out the anime. In comparison to the film, the anime delves into more intricate details, adding depth and balance to the plot. I haven't read the novel yet, but I hope it proves to be even more entertaining than the anime. Overall, it was a fantastic movie, but if I had to pick, I'd prefer the anime.

I don't think he is that dumb. He is quite cunning and he has just been manipulating the FL. He knows she has…
He's definitely not an idiot, I totally agree with that, but I have serious doubts about him being exactly as you described. I don't think it'll turn out to be "Sword Snow Stride," but it seems more like "Oh My General." So far, Shang Yi Zhi has just been fooling around, and his mother, or let's say adopted mother, allowed him to do so in order to protect him from the king. Basically, this guy has been spoiled rotten and never had to take responsibility for anything. That's why he's turned out this way. But don't worry, as the drama progresses, he'll transform into a remarkable man. This is how I feel about the drama with what we have seen so far.

Man, that Crown Prince cracks me up! Who in their right mind would stroll into a border garrison and be like, "Hey, behead that acting general and yield before me!" I highly doubt even a king would have the audacity to pull off such a stunt with only 800 men unless they are Spartans or something of that calibre.

By the way, It's been quite some time since I truly enjoyed watching Crystal Zhang take on the lead role in a drama.

Man, it's been ages since I've been this worked up about a drama. That guy is seriously a human garbage. I hope that ex-husband gets completely destroyed and tormented by the end of this drama.
