Our little princess is shining brighter than ever, to the extent that she's even outshining Ru Yi. I couldn't resist watching her scene multiple times because it was just so satisfying. LTG just isn't good enough for her, she deserves someone way better.
Man, this is really starting to annoy me. Stop teasing us with these short spoiler clips that only last for 1 to 2 minutes. Why don't they just drop all 8 episodes at once and get it over with? It's driving me crazy!
Can someone tell me if this is actually a sequel to Ancient Love Poetry? Does this drama have a direct link to Ancient Love Poetry? Should I rewatch Ancient Love Poetry before starting this?

Just the same as our daily life reality... haha, stop daydreaming 🤣 someone like that can't possibly exist. If they do, they would have to be somewhat close to the existence of figures like Lord Jesus Christ or Lord Buddha.
Do you really believe that being a doctor and helping people is what actually happened? It's more like this person, who knew nothing about medicine but was skilled in martial arts, became a miraculous doctor by studying every bit of available medical knowledge to ease his own pain from poison or cure himself. So, in order to continue studying and sustain himself, he started treating people in need and receiving compensation for his services. However, besides that, the only thing he did until his death was cleaning up the messes that occurred because of him, even though there were a few better ways for him to achieve his goals. The truth is, he never fully recovered from the trauma he experienced ten years ago. He simply wanted to make things right and die with a clear conscience.
This drama is definitely one of the odd ones I've ever watched. I wouldn't call it bad, but it's definitely dragged…
Firstly, it's just unbelievable that the top two martial artists in the world could turn out to be two complete idiots with only skill. And let me tell you, this main character is one of the most pathetic and pitiful individuals I've ever come across in stories, dramas, or any other form of entertainment. He's a genius that you only find once in a million, and he manages to reach the top only to be betrayed and left barely alive. What's even more miserable is that all he can think about is finding his brother's corpse, the very person who orchestrated his betrayal and killed his master. One of his closest friend ends up lusting after his woman and the other guy poisons him all because of some crazy woman. And to top it all off, the woman he's loved for ages couldn't even recognize him. The person who wrote this must have some strange fetish for seeing someone suffer so much.
This drama is definitely one of the odd ones I've ever watched. I wouldn't call it bad, but it's definitely dragged out way too much. It can get boring at times. It would have been much better if they had cut it down to around 30 episodes. The first 15 to 20 episodes were just okay for me, but it started to get more interesting after that. I have some more things to say, but I'll save them for the spoiler tag.
Man, I was totally taken aback by Ru Yi's unexpected tenderness and her gentle voice. It seriously made my heart skip a beat. And let's not forget about that sugar mama scene... oh my gosh, it was absolutely epic!
There's only one possible explanation for why you don't feel bad maybe you haven't read the manhua or the novel,…
People are really angry about this because compared to the manhua and anime, the characters here act way too silly. This happened because BTTH is so popular and there are people who absolutely fall in love with either the novel, manhua, or anime. So once you love one of these, you have a certain specific character in your mind and this is how he or she should be. So when this drama failed to meet people's expectations, it's normal for them to get mad and trash it. To be honest, the characters in this drama look like clowns compared to the characters in other forms, and the action is so bad compared to others. So this is an adaptation, not something new, and people have expectations... that's the case.
Good first 4 episodes! For those who want to watch this and are a bit dubious after reading some malicious reviews,…
There's only one possible explanation for why you don't feel bad maybe you haven't read the manhua or the novel, or even watched the anime. If that's the case, it's totally understandable why you can't see the difference
I can't believe how terrible this is, it's beyond belief. At least season 1 had something going for it. Save yourself some time and just read the manhua instead of wasting it on this.
I tried watching and I'm sooo confused now. I'll put this on hold for now and read the manga again. 😢
The inner branch competition is about to begin, but Xun Er is determined to wait for Xiao Yan before starting it. This event takes place around chapter 210. the way they recreated that epic battle in this drama is just awful.
It's great to see that Ning and the rest of the gang embrace LTG as a cheeky brat and are willing to guide him. On the other hand, our little princess is brilliant. It would be wonderful if Ning and Ru Yi could provide guidance and mentorship to help her excel, giving her a chance at the crown. I have a feeling she would make an incredible queen.
Ru Yi JiÄ› utterly shocked me when she said that to LTG right in front of him and everyone. And thank god, LTG doesn't seem like a complete lost cause.
True, but I just wish the writer didn't make him out to be a complete romantic fool in the latest episodes. Seems…
Yeah, I totally understand what you're saying. I also believe that he's not completely terrible and he's going through a tough situation. However, the way he handled things is highly questionable. Once someone reaches that level, it's really difficult for them to change. It's crazy to think that this guy was trained by the best assassin, yet he couldn't even stay calm when he first saw her. Imagine if Ru Yi was actually on a spy mission. He's just way too fixated on her and doesn't care about anything else. I wonder what insane things he'll do when he finds out she's in love with someone else...
That's not her husband. Her husband died of bad health. That's her husband's older brother (most probably the…
Ah, I see now... but it doesn't really change much. The first daughter-in-law probably got incredibly shocked, went insane, and ended up being killed by the mother-in-law. That's probably why those rumors keep circulating all the time.
Did I misunderstand something or is this situation a complete mess? So, if I understand correctly, her late husband married her, got her pregnant, and then left for work and end up with another man. And to make matters worse, his father was so furious about his son being gay that he killed him right on the spot. What the heck is happening? If this is really the case, why is she not reacting to it? I mean, seriously, why?
Li Tong Guang is seriously giving off major red flags. I totally agree with Ning's worries about him. It's not just a matter of trust or jealousy as she thinks. I believe he has the potential to become the ultimate villain. It seems like Ru Yi can sense it too, but she shrugs it off because of the sentimental attachment or faith she has about her disciple.
If you haven't started yet, I'd suggest waiting until season 3 because a lot of things are happening here, but it's not the main story and the screen time for the main character is not better than the guest star's screen time.
And if you're sensitive to certain things (you know what I mean), please be warned that the first three episodes can be quite disturbing and inhumane.
As for season 2, to be honest, I don't have any opinions to give because the whole thing felt like a bridge for connect to season 3 and introduce a bunch of new characters. So, it didn't turn out as thrilling as I had anticipated
