I'm not really sure how to rate this... that's just how I feel about it. If you're a teenager or around that age, you might want to skip it because there's a good chance you won't enjoy it. Moreover, it's kind of hilarious how she claims she won't try to seduce him, yet she's really sincere with him. That kind of sincerity is way deeper than any simple seduction.
As I was watching this, I couldn't help but think... Why on earth do people give it a 6.5? It was just an okay drama until the last two episodes totally messed it up. Those last two episodes made me feel like 6.5 is way too generous. Honestly, if you ignore those final episodes, it’s somewhat enjoyable, but it’s definitely not anything special.
Ugh... that's a tough one! I can't think of many dramas that blend romance and action. The ones that do exist are usually pretty well-known, so you’ve probably seen them already. anyway
KDRAMAs - Healer (2014) - The K2 (2016) - Vagabond (2019) - City Hunter (2011) - Gu Family Book (2013) - Moving (2023) - Happiness (2021) - W (2016) - Doctor Stranger (2014) - Flower of Evil (2020) - Inspiring Generation (2014) [this one gets mixed reviews] - Revenge of Others (2021) - Secret Garden (2010) - Strong Woman Do Bong Soon (2017) - The Bridal Mask (2012) - Hwarang (2016) - Jumong (2008) [it's a bit older and has a ton of episodes, but still nice though when it contains some crazy actions in it) - The Uncanny Counter (2020)
CDRAMAs - Age of Legends (2018) - Story of Kunning Palace (2023) - Sword Snow Stride (2021) - The Whirlwind Girl 1 and 2 [kinda fun, but not amazing] - General and I (2017) [mixed reviews, and a bit stretchy but the war scenes and military strategies are top-notch] - Arsenal Military Academy (2019) - The Legends (2019) - One and Only (2021) - Dance of the Sky Empire (2020) - My Journey to You (2023) - Back from the Brink (2023) - Hard to Find (2024) - Heavenly Sword and Dragon Slaying Sabre (2019) - Legend of Yun Xi (2018) - Love and Redemption (2020) - Reset (2022) - Side Story of Fox Volant (2022) - The King’s Avatar (2019) [not as good as the anime, but still pretty decent] - Under the Power (2019) - My Heroic Husband (2021) - Most of the "Novoland" dramas [I think they’re good, but some find the plots a bit too complicated] - Rakshasa Street (2017)
The list is getting pretty long, so I’ll stop here for now. Not everything fits perfectly into the romance and action categories, but I think they’ll work. I also didn’t include popular dramas like Joy of Life, Snow Sword Stride, Descendants of the Sun, The Double, My Journey to You and so on because they’re super well-known. I figured you’ve probably already seen them, so mentioning them wouldn’t really add anything for you.
it is not a cliffhanger and why would they need to a plan a 2nd season? it's done. And it doesn't need a second…
How did they manage to rescue the theater? Do you really think one big hit is enough to turn things around for them? Haha, do you believe the world is that simple? What goes down with Okgyeong after she realizes she's killing it despite her broken voice? She's so fixated on finding someone to challenge her. And what about Joo Ran? Will she find happiness in that marriage? Is she coming back or what?
Hmm... Not satisfied. The Drama was quite good but the ending though. Wtf with this kinda cliffhanger situation going on here? If they're not planning a 2nd season, they really need to tie up those loose ends instead of leaving us with so many unanswered questions.
I’m not really into the whole this gay thing, but I know I’m not the only one hoping Jeongnyeon shows up, crashes her wedding, and takes her back to the theater.
Juran might be in love but that action rlly made me hate her
I can't really argue with that either. She's just hella confused about her situation and feelings. Then she blurts out whatever pops into her head to run away from her, which makes Jeongnyeon hurt like never before.
Kim Tae Ri and Sin Ye Eun are totally killing it with their roles, but who’s this Woo Da Vi? She’s really impressing me too! Honestly, I want to point fingers at Hong Ju Ran for Jeong Nyeon's madness, but I just can’t bring myself to do it. That poor girl is just having a serious gay panic out there, how can I blame her for that.
Damn!!! What the heck is this??? And why on earth are people rating it a 7.9? Folks must be out of their minds! I’m not sure how this will end and whether they will ruin it or not, but for now, it’s just ridiculously good.
This drama is pretty solid👌, but I can't call it one of the best since I've watched a ton of great ones. Still, it's definitely worth a watch! The only downside I've noticed is that some parts of the plot are a bit iffy. If they had nailed those sections, it would have been absolutely amazing.
I’m completely done with Li Qin. This is the final drama I’ll watch that she’s part of. I mean, come on... if there’s a halfway decent drama that she is starring in, you can bet her character is going to kick the bucket.
This new season doesn't even hold a candle to the 1st season. In the first four episodes, I was just thinking, "Are you freaking kidding me?" They basically tossed in a few minutes clip at the end of season 1 and then spent 4 whole episodes trying to link everything back to that clip in a 7 episodes series. I was on the edge of my seat during every episode of the first season, and now? It's just kinda mediocre. They definitely could have done a much better job than this.
Am I the only one who doesn’t feel bad for FL at this point? I get that she’s nice and in a tough spot, but seriously, where’s her brain at? And then there’s her master or aunt or whatever she is... She’s honestly the most ridiculous and clueless character I’ve ever come across. She claims to be an assassin, but she hasn’t seen or heard anything concrete, yet she just assumes FL’s dad died because of ML’s dad and then goes on to brainwash FL. If she really did take out people like that... wow, I’d feel sorry for them. She doesn’t even bothered to think about why ML’s whole family and half his tribe got wiped out if ML’s dad really sold him out. Then we come back to FL again. Now FL knows she is from a royal family, she has to understand that anything related to her past in now muddy water. Yet she believes everything her aunt says, ignoring everything she’s seen and experienced, and just tosses aside her relationships like piece of garbage. I’m honestly speechless.
