Typical scenes where the friend who’s accepted their sexuality decides to give up on their “straight” friend and move on. Meanwhile their “straight” friend cannot live without them in their life. AKA “you don’t know what you have till it’s gone” trope. I love it! I really hope we see an emotionally burnt out San next season get close to a new male friend and the green eyed monster makes an appearance in Changesong. That would be PURE GOLD.

The stress I have stressed because of a measly 2 eps, each literally less than 30mins long… I’m quite disappointed in Qin Ziao, but like the whole “i want a family” is his cross to carry. He’s digging his grave so he better be ready to lay in it, that’s all I have to say to him. The one really frustrating me is Qi Lu, because bestie my ego is freaking shattered for you. It’s actually so painful seeing him behave like that when he actually deserves better. As for this week’s ep… I thought Top’s character would be an issue, I didn’t like him much from the beginning but ofc i love how well Top was able to play such a character🥰 but no, now it’s giving Green is the issue. Because what in the avoidant-ass behaviour did I just witness?? It’s always them bitches that always seem the most put-together that have the biggest, PHATest, stupidest, most stubborn internal issue you ever did see. I can’t lie tho, after last week I’m not liking the possibility that any of the stories from now on could just have endings from straight up tragedy to straight up bullshit because that is how life actually is, and for some reason they chose to go the incredibly realistic route with this show 🤪

These boys are phenomenal actors and such a damn wide range of ‘em too. I’m entirely mesmerised by them. This series is exactly what they needed to put their acting on full display. Also the screenwriters and their intimacy coaches have my whole heart. This show is so uniquely gorgeous

The last part makes a lot of sense but i also think juyeong kept in contact because of guilt. He said something about Dohoi not being able to see his dad anymore/coach not being able to see Dohoi anymore, no clue what happened there but i guess he feels partly responsible. He also told coach he would become a son to him, i guess because for whatever reason, coach doesn’t have access to his son anymore and juyeong feels responsible so tried to be some sort of replacement. Not to mention he eventually took coach as a father-figure and kept in contact because of genuine care for coach. Because Dohoi literally never showed up for 12yrs so if coach was supposed to be his link to Dohoi, he was a pretty poor one lol
