Thank you, the webtoon based on the info I've gathered is really good. The problem I have, is why did they pick a webtoon that has alot of sensitive themes to adapt? There is alot of heterosexual campus slice of life webtoons, novels & manhwas to adapt yet they chose 'Blue Spring from a Distance' to adapt. If they didn't want to show LGBTQ+ relationships, and other topics that might anger conservative viewers then why did they pick that manhwa. Anyways, thank you so much for more info about the manhwa.

This drama now has momentum, and Ep 3 proves that. Da On is a pushover, you don't have to be obligated to say 'YES' to everything. It is seen in the first few minutes of Ep 3 that there's alot of problems and stress that Da On is thinking about which is kind of sad. I hope he gets proper character development. Tae Kyung is straight forward, which I like about him (I do not mind the acting) because he's character is actually like that in the game when I played. In my theory, Shin Woo might be gay and has a slight crush on Tae Kyung because he gets jealous in this episode but also I think he's closeted and that's why he's a tsundere around Tae Kyung. So Hee's actress is good but I still do not see the purpose of her character other than to create more conflict between Tae Kyung and Da On. If we erase her character, the story will be the same and her character was not even in the game nor the manhwa. Overall, a fun light-hearted BL series that everyone should watch and just scream in pure joy lmao. Ep. 4 is now getting interesting aswell because Shin Woo and Tae Kyung are getting closer.

The series in the information I have gotten focuses on the first two seasons of the webtoon, which didn't have any romance it focused more on friendship and the campus life. In S3, where Jun Wan and Soo Hyun are now dating. I think because the drama only has 12 eps it will focus on the first season. So let's hope for S2 <3 have a nice day.

The author did not label the story as 'BL'. The webtoon does not just focus on the the romance between Soo Hyun and Jun Wan. It's more of a youth centered webtoon. Also, the main character Yeo Joon is not gay in the webtoon.

Well, that's your opinion but based on the comments left above, The 'BL' romance is in S3 while the drama only focuses on S1-S2 of the webtoon.

This is nowhere near trash. As a BL fan myself, the webtoon does have BL elements but it's not between Joon & Soo Hyun. It's between Soo Hyun & Jun Wan. The series might not live up to your expectations but it's not TRASH. The webtoon is not labeled as 'BL', it's a webtoon that HAS LGBTQ+ characters and themes. Just because the webtoon has LGBTQ+ main characters doesn't mean it's BL. Have a nice day.

Well, I do agree I always tell them that the BL romance is between Soo Hyun and Jun Wan (but tbh we might never know because the webtoon is not finished maybe at some point Yeo Joon might fall for Soo Hyun, but that's highly unlikely). The problem is that the romance for some people is really underdeveloped, and people wanted the story to focus more on the friendship rather than the romance. People are also upset because their is a possibility their straight washing Soo Hyun. That's one of the biggest issues of some people with this drama. Have a nice day thank you for your reply.
