Title The Legend of Shen Li Spoiler
I really like this series and the lead's chemistry. The only thing I find ridiculous is that only one Shen Li…
In the novel, the rest of her army was being held back by fusheng's minions. some of the generals were actually being devoured alive. She was alone because only her fire, weapon, and skills can deal damage to Fusheng's creatures, so she took on the strongest ones out at the sea while the rest dealt with the weaker ones. She's also alone mainly because Fusheng wanted to corner her alone to steal her pearl so he gave orders to hold her army behind. since the drama is following the novel so far, I'm assuming the production team is trying to film the sequence like that but it didn't make the final cut. But I agree with you that there are some logical fallacies because they didn't include the part where her army was held back from joining her. And yes the immortals should have joined the war since they were also attacked but they are lazy bums, so they're always hoping the spirit realm to take on all the labor.

the spiritual realm gets attacked. Shen Li goes to defend it and news started to spread that she died so the immortals…
in the book it happens in the middle so I’m taking a guess maybe between ep 18-20. we still have like 3 major plot points to cover before that happens considering the drama is filling the book closely so far.

1. Yes, 3 realms: immortal, spiritual, mortal2. In the book it was demon realm, but I'm assuming due to censorship…
Great comparison, yes! I think the only difference is Xing Zhi is more reserved and constrained in his actions because he knows that everyone treats his potential feelings and actions as a liability for being able to directly affect the world whereas Dong Hua can be more unrestrained because his immortal subordinates fully trusts his authority.

Title The Legend of Shen Li Spoiler
so watched 8eps so far and i have some questions -so there is 3 realms: immortal, spiritual, mortal ?- spiritual…
1. Yes, 3 realms: immortal, spiritual, mortal
2. In the book it was demon realm, but I'm assuming due to censorship issues or other reasons to stay in compliance with the China's film regulation, they changed the name completely to spiritual realm. (similar to how demon tribe was changed to moon tribe in Love Between Fairy and Devil)
3. Xutian Abyss: the previous Spiritual Realm Lord (who was the the teacher to the current Spiritual Realm Lord and also the teacher to Shen Li's deceased mother) was a madman who didn't want their realm to be subjected under the rule of the immortal realm, thus he did some crazy biology experiments and created an army of creatures that are poisonous and almost invincible (similar to the one that Shen Li killed in ep 8) in hopes of taking over the immortal realm. But his plan backfired, and the creatures started killing and feeding on the people of the spiritual realm. The spiritual realm decided to overthrow him because he brought catastrophe to the 3 realms and they sought help from the immortal realm. Xing Zhi killed him and sealed his creatures in the Xutian Abyss using his god powers while consuming the powers of the spiritual realm to sustain the seal. That's why the spiritual realm is barren and tainted.
4. which ghoul?
5. Xing Zhi main ruler: yes and no. he's the last god of the world. Going by authority it's God-Immortal-Spiritual-Mortal. He has supreme authority over everyone, but he isn't into politics. He mostly idles his way through life while protecting the world.

Yes
This drama (Chasing the Moon) is based on book #3 of the series, but it is currently incomplete (as I'm writing this it's at Ch. 82 - last updated on 9/25). I'm guessing that @FlugelSan means the ending of the drama and book may potentially be different because the book may not be completed before the drama is released. Also don't be disappointed, this is the story of tianqi searching for yuemi's soul.

Please, what does TBOY mean, is it interesting?
TBOY is The Blood of Youth. The premise is similar to MLC where we follow a story of the journey of a “fallen” young master/warrior Xiao Se who was previously at the peak of martial arts world. The main ML in here is Xiao Se and his companions. Where MLC is more focused on solving cases, TBOY is more focused on the journey of a group of youths who advance their skills, protect justice, and the ML regains his past identity to overturn a treason case in the imperial court. This differs from MLC because it’s martial arts actually leans towards fantasy/magic (similar to Soul Land/ Douluo Dailu) system so it’s be a little different than typical kung fu.

The World is too Busy (人世太匆忙) Artist: Cheng Yi feat. Yan Yi Dan

Apologies if this was already mentioned… I haven’t lurked this comment section in a few days, but I didn’t see anyone post it under the All Ost songs discussions yet so I added it.

I really miss the drama and nothing else I’m watching now is distracting me from the fact that this ended. Guess it’s time for a rewatch… I’m waiting for Shui Long Yin Adapted from the novel "Qian Jie Mei" (千劫眉) by Teng Ping (藤萍) same author as MLC. Really want it to be as wonderful as MLC!

they should have force fed him the flower the moment they got their hands on it🥲 why did FDB even listen to…
As much symphathy as I have for poor Lianhua to endure having the flower force fed to him… I totally agree! Seriously, that would have been the most logical and justified course of action given the dude’s record for avoiding medical treatment e v e r y… s i n g l e… t i m e!

Title Lost You Forever Spoiler
So who is the main male lead here?I don't like dramas with many ml leads as that's gonna break my heart at the…
There's a discussion topic that mentions this which contains a snippet of the novel author/main scriptwriter's interview.

"From the perspective of the story structure, the male lead is Cang Xuan, who is the core of the story, but as a romance story, the heroine Xiao Yao's lover is Tu Shanjing. In terms of structure the FL does not fall in love with the ML"

Their relationship is more of a familial bond, but he falls for her and that's one of the main driven factor of wanting the throne thus being the reason that facilitates the story progression. The title "Lost You Forever" in a way refers to every central character losing someone by the end after achieving their ultimate goal. The main love triangle is between the FL, Tu Shanjing, and Xiang Liu.

Personally I think it's worth watching because the drama depicts a well written character driven story where each character's decisions heavily influences the plot. I like it because you can clearly see through the perspective of each individual characters and it truly feels like you're watching each one of them play the main role to their story. However this style of drama is my personal cup of tea, so I suggest you give it a try and judge for yourself whether you want to continue or not. Slight warning, this story is really angsty...so proceed with caution. Hope this helps!

Ep 17, viewers with eagle eyes on the boat ride scene, is that a female actress or is that really Tan Jian Ci…
That scene is done by an actress named Chen Xin Yu. They can shapeshift in this world so the character Xiang Líu is taking on a different appearance.
