No the female lead in hidden love had a very defined and strong personality. This female lead is just a teenager in love and they reinforce all the patriarchal expectations of that, shy, naive, inexperienced and always saying yes to the guy ( much older than her) Sometimes it gives grooming vibes because of how young they make her behave. I honestly dislike the characters here so much.
A bit unrealistic? Only a bit?š¤£its the most delusional depiction of relationships in dramas ever to exist .…
You expect what? I donāt understand why you keep insisting when I literally just told you our definition of boring, respectful and love relationships are completely different. This Is boring to me because nothing ever happens and I canāt realistically believe grown ass adults ( specially men) behave like this. There are exceptions of course but whatās displayed in this drama is purely romanticizing the patriarchal concept of pureness and modesty which are so toxic in our society. Also, stop screaming, and sending love, its cringe.
I did like it a lot! It was funny and endearing, although it was just very tiny storyline and not the focus. Loved…
@shantiece of course ! To be fair, I am always a fan of romance if its well executed so I think that is why I enjoyed. But I know many people donāt like it so it wasnāt as welcomed.
imperial japan has inflicted some of the most gruesome war crimes known to humanity.. god this is actually making…
Itās actually sickening, It really gives me goosebumps. The atrocities they have committed in Korea and China, I cant even think about it⦠their capacity of cruelty is outrageous š
What the hell was that ending?! I honestly think the writers had a stroke writing the last episode.
She finally realized she has a trauma and needs time to heal, decides to go for a trip ( if you donāt know about it El Camino de Santiago is a pilgrimage rooted in medieval origins ) so she can find herself and find out whatās in her heart . So what the ml does? Ignore her wishes completely and show up in the airport to join her!! I mean, the most nonsensical and contradictory ending I have ever watched ..
It was supposed to be a happy ending because she was going to go to travel to find herself but the ml ignored her wishes showed at the airport to go with her. I think the writers had a stroke while writing the last episode š
The Long Ballad is one of my fave. It's my go to series. If you love good, smart and brave FL (Mulan type), then…
@littleDaisy In TLB I absolutely loved the female lead the first half of the drama but last episodes were just not it. The chemistry was lack too. That made me lower the ratings. Otherwise would have been perfect.
THAT ENDING was the Only perfect answer for all the madness going on like ..How else do you want to explain all…
Did you like it? I find it a bit too ⦠much? I found the last scene very fitting though, I donāt need a second season. But the plot twist was a bit too crazy for me..š¤£
