Out of all Bai Lu's xianxia dramas, this one ranks at the bottom!! The drama feels outdated and the script isn't doing it for me after 8 episodes. Also, was she dubbed??? Cuz I've watched her dramas and you can feel the emotions and energy in her voice even with your eyes closed but not in this drama. Too bad :\\

The way Babe was trying to gaslight Charlie the entire episode -_- Trying to put the blame on Charlie for what he did is insane!!! Also, WHY ON EARTH IS YOU SITTING THAT CLOSE IN A BAR WITH WILLY AND STILL HAVING A FULL ON CONVERSATION WITH HIM ???? I hope Charlie leaves you so you can learn your lesson

I cannot wait so I can rewatch S1 and binge both S2 & S3! I have been waiting for ages

Does anyone here know how this spinoff ties to the main story ? I didn't read the novel, I only watched the dramas so I'm not really sure.

First, if Charlie decides be angry at or even leave Babe, I will fully support his decision because honestly Babe had it coming for a while now. Babe letting Willy get too close to him in multiple occasions and him also still hanging around him even though Willy was clear about him wanting to take Charlie's place and saying to Babe's face he has a crush on him. Babe should've kept his distance the moment he realized that another man wants him in respect to his boyfriend.

Second, I AM SO FKCING DONE WITH THESE BLs AND THEM ROMANTACIZING SA... THIS IS THE 2ND TIME IN THIS SERIES ALONE !!!!

Frr!!! We were never left alone in the classrooms, 1 teacher clocks out and other enters at the same time and the hallways always at least 1 supervisor in case students get out of their classrooms XD We barely had time and energy to study let alone fight other students! Maybe bullying is a 1st world country problem LOL

All I'm gonna say is Xiaotao and Wei Liang deserved better!!!!! The script writers could've easily used the heart protector Xiaotao gave the general as a ploy to somehow save his life... The script writer better watch his six!

He's a general who spent his entire life between men either training or fighting in battle. The only women in his life are his grandmother, mother and that woman he considers as a "sister". He's just an inexperienced loser when it comes to love and women lol

If the Weis fall, the Qiaos will follow and by extension Boya right after Panyi's fall. I guess Lady Qiao's cousin was right when she said she's just an ordinary woman. There is nothing wrong about wanting to live a normal quiet life but not in this case. You weren't born in an ordinary family, your husband leads a small army, your cousin's in laws aren't exactly what we call ordinary too, and you"re living in constant conflict and war. The least you can do is follow your cousin's advice like you've always did before.

If she doesn't help her cousin then she'll repeat history and prove to the world that the Qiao's aren't to be trusted which will ruin her entire clan. I hope that her husband can talk some sense in her since he pledged to help Lady Qiao if she ever needed it.

not necessarily! He could be an eunuch since they walk with their heads down. He could also be someone in his 30-50s changing his body proportions to protect his identity like zang hai's master did. He could also be a woman who changed her voice like Mr. Eight did when she performed the play.

The only clue we have is that this man's reach is beyond imaginable except the royal court where he barely has any spies or allies. My guess is that this man is the emperor himself, they left us with so many clues that point at that possibility and the biggest of them all is that we still don't know who the emperor is!

That excuse made sense that moment but after seeing how their master are always several steps ahead of everyone and how meticulous they are about their plans, the writing felt off for that specific moment.

My only complaint after watching the first 4 episodes is how it didn't make sense for his masters to leave the scar on his back. I mean, if they can change his bone structure and appearance they might as well treat that wound or at least change the shape of the scar of burn it. I know that it was left intentionally so the other two children can recognize him later but still, that part of the script was badly written.

I feel like the masked man who saved Zang Hai is the emperor's eunuch and his masters work for the emperor..

it seems like the word "Glory" is the new favorite word for English titles in Chinese dramaland after the word Love and Blossom XD

Also, the least amount of romance if possible! I want the focus to be on the political power struggles.

When they started to show the ML's flashbacks, I first thought that someone's being a p*dophile SA-ing children and painting them but then EP9 happened and after that I couldn't enjoyed the rest of the show. For some reason, seeing him like that with the tears falling trying to cover himself made me feel more disgusted than the thought of him being SA-ed. Am I a bad person for feeling that way !??

A drama that I'll never have the guts to revisit but will forever remember!!
