Hi, I'm Hop.

I've been learning Japanese for a long time and recently started learning Korean, so I pretty much only watch Japanese and Korean dramas and movies.

This is how I rate the stuff I watch:

10 - Amazing. Would recommend you watch this and share it with everyone you know. Basically my absolute favorite dramas and movies!!!

9 - Awesome. Missing that thing that made the 10's special but nonetheless amazing.

8 - Great. Really enjoyable and great, had some small flaws but was overall a great experience.

7 - Good. I often give comedy stuff this one cause sometimes it's just so weird (from a westerners perspective), that I don't know where to place it. Everything here I found enjoyable to some extent. I also place dramas and movies, that I can't judge that well and have to re-watch here, before eventually giving a higher or lower score. 

6 - Fine. a somewhat positive experience, at times boring.

5 - Meh. That is the first word that comes to mind when I recall the experience of watching these dramas/movies. They tend to be quite boring and I might stop watching them if I am not too caught up in the sunk-cost fallacy that forces me to finish it. I wouldn't recommend these unless you generally like the genre etc.

4.5 - Bad but fun. For the bad but enjoyable, a special rating for the so bad it's good sort of stuff.

4 - Low-key bad. Not worth watching, often extremeeeely boring.

3 - Bad. Yeah, it is bad alright. This just makes your day less good.

2 - No. If someone walked into my room and I didn't have time to turn it off in an inconspicuous manner, raising suspicions. I would rather tell them I was watching granny porn.

1 - Torture. I recommend extensive therapy after watching.
