Keng so fully convinced me that he is in fact Peem, a shaman in a remote village, that it actually felt weird to see him in a "modern" apartment complex. He looked so out of place for some reason. I felt the same when he was using a smartphone😂 I can really only picture him in the countryside in his traditional thai house.
Am I the only one who thinks that LYL is actually a very interesting and well written character? To me he's supposed to be a rather childish person, who feels strong emotions just like a child would. The huge admiration he felt for Mr shen as a poor child who was struggling to stay alive and provide for his sick sister, turned into strong hate after he felt betrayed. As he clearly thought of him as someone he can finally depend on. This grudge was probably deepened when he realized that Mr shen doesn't even remember him.
The newspaper thing might seem to be the reason for his weird obsession with bringing down mr shen but it's actually more complicated. At the beginning he was following the orders of his "boss" or benefactor, whatever you wanna call it. His main driving force is his pursuit of power and need for approval, which his boss can give him, so he wants to succeed in the mission he was given no matter what he has to do. He also clearly has an inferiority complex(stemming from his childhood) which was probably triggered when Mr shen refused to even talk to him at the party at ML house. Him already having a grudge against Mr shen and the latter escaping from death makes him more and more interested. By this point it's already insinuated that LYL seems to be attracted to Mr shen by all the homo erotic undertones in their interactions. It's also insinuated that he hates himself for giving in and bowing down to authority, you could say he sees himself as a monster. So when he finds out that Mr shen is actually not a human being, he directs all his self hatred against him, by constantly talking down to him. Especially when they put Mr shen in that "dungeon". His naivety is shown again when he actually believes that Ms mu only wants to transfer Mr shen into a different hospital. We can clearly see in the following scenes that he doesn't actually want Mr shen to die anymore, he even considers going with him, when the latter proposes to escape together with situ and mi lan. Finally he even let's the trio escape by hesitating to shoot. Unfortunately he again comes to the very wrong conclusion that Mr shen didn't actually mean it when he asked him to escape with them.
So his self hatred, inferiority complex, broken trust, his hatred and underlying admiration for Mr shen and the attraction he feels are obviously contradicting and therefore confusing for him, so all of these feelings gave birth to the weird obsession he has with Mr shen.
Tell me why episode two is giving: Wife who is mad at her husband is trying to get back at him by flirting with someone else. If I was Rongqing I would be thinking: "I don't know what's going on between you two but leave me out of it." 😂

That's true, I guess I just want the fight to be a little more exciting🤞 But I also have to admit that I just really love Yang Mi in this role so I want her to have at least some small victories😁.
