Synopsis:
Shen Nanzhi lost her parents when she was 10 years old and as her adoptive brother was too young to raise her alone, she grew up at family friends, the Jiangs. This was a logical decision as the Jiang and Shen families had a pre-arranged marriage. Growing up she was closer to the younger brother, Jiang TingXu and everybody thought they would fulfil the agreement.When she overhears him talking smack about her to their mutual friends whilst hugging the school belle, she wants to break-up the engagement. Who would have thought, that Jiang Jinnian, the elder brother and current head of the Jiang family business, known for his self-discipline and aloofness, would rush to stand in as her fiancé and even hurry to get the marriage certificate. She certainly never imagined that he would spoil her so much and lovingly take care of her after they registered their marriage.

It was my first version as well and I did enjoy it, it was just a little bit underwhelming given the fact who the main leads are.... Can´t wait to see how the other versions play out, I think I´ll go with the Cao Tian Kai & Fang Sichang version next.
P.S.: the hight thing is sometimes a little bit ridiculous: I´ve just watched "Everything About Secretary Li" with Chen Si and it was another pairing where the poor guy has to bend over constantly :-)) And he is the same hight as Ma Xiao Yu

Although I like Sun Qian Xun very much, she was the wrong choice to play a coquettish young woman imo. Something just felt a little bit off
