Obv it wouldn't have the same energy if the writing is flawed no amount of great acting would fix it and it's not even a sequel to the original show the only thing they have in common is the name nanno. And people weren't expecting the series to be good anyways.

Yeah it's real for Wu shi guamg and the others but for lu wuyi and ji ling it's 50/50 like they are in the world of their own somewhere.

This is not season 2 tho why is it so hard to understand it's basically inspired lol and there's not even a returning character in this series for y'all to label it as season 2. The only common thing they have is Netflix streaming it. But I agree the writing in this drama is bad not even the actors could carry it

The best thing a out this drama storyline is JL and LWY their character was written soo good that even the 10th dragon became a side character wtf why make them leads lol. And does anyone notice that towards the end of the drama like 26 upwards the budget ran out like the outfit wasn't giving anymore and the CGI( don't get me wrong the CGI was great but like it was giving 480p) seems like they spent it all on JL lonescale 😂.
This drama is a solid 8.5 see y'all on the next drama

I'll be starting from ep 27 because I'll be ranting very soon we can say it's a happy ending honestly.
So basically at first the group thought they defeated jiu lying only to find out that jiu lying had already possessed LWY with the Oracle stone replenishing his powers. Jiu ying possessed LWY successfully and they started fighting meanwhile before JY start fighting the group( JL alr died because he gave LWY the dragon scale he swallowed back then to LWY so it's basically like a heart transplant so she could have her own body and live on her own) JY manipulated the form less moon to destroy all the 4 trees of life, back to the group the kept on fighting JY and each time he dies he comes back they couldn't do anything so the shilin hunters divided them selves into 4 to defeat each formless moon fox at the tree of life, even still they were still struggling to wrap it up you chi dies( because he took on of the hunters place to go and defeat them). WSG suddenly remembered the star stone and gave it to the shilling hunter that stayed to revive JL he was successful JL was revived he helped with the fight( the ring) but they still couldn't defeat JY all of a sudden the all the shilin hunters with li Jie came out and the starstone. They didn't know what to do so WSG suggested that the only way JY could die is to go back to the past Stop JY from putting his fragment on her and also kill him right there. Star stone opened portal he JL volunteered to go back to the past the healer and the three petal shilin hunter stayed to help li Jie protect the portal( JL had to go back 50 years to the past) while WSG was beating the shi out of JY. JL couldn't get in fully so the 4 great demon and the lone scale dragon all came out to help him( they all fused into him) he finally became a 6 petal shilin hunter meanwhile the star stone tole JL that if he couldn't come out soon he was going to be lost somehwere in the past or just anywhere he might find himself forever. JL went in just as JY was about to put his fragment in LWY JL killed JY and spoke to lu wuyi he told her that she should remember his name. Outside the portal 3 of the shilin hunters is already dead remaining only the white haired guy WSG also stabbed JY(possessing LWY) and LWY regained her senses she told WSG to destroy the oracle stone fragment inside her and WSG warned her that she was gonna die she accepted and he destroyed the fragment. Back to the tree of life you chi died ( I forgot before JL came to help WSG he freed the foxes from JY word spell) so the formless moon foxes sacrificed themselves to fix the tree of life only one remaining WWY went there and she saw you chi before he disappeared she then sacrificed her self to fix the tree.
After defeating JY his fragments went into the portal starstone opened and the portal closed, they showed JL holding LWY and they used a spell in the portal and scene blacked out.
WSG went to the tree only to see that you chi and WWY had died he cried for a bit and the scene changes ( because the past had changed) all the shilin hunters and you chi was shown ( you chi was now the commander) Li Jie left to discover more of the world WWY is now the fox queen and WSG went to meet her and they smiled at each other.
It all ended there for them.
JL was shown but this time the camera lightening is different like they were glowing ( it was shot dream like) they showed us ji ling selling flowers and him telling a kid that demons don't exist we see lu wuyi wanting to buy a flower but she left JL followed her and gave her a flower( the one he used to give her) the drama ends. At the end it says "I'll always be with you". That's all

GJM is really great at creating unkillable/complicated villains in the drama just to kill one of the leads whyy.

And ji ling is lonely as the dragon deity yet he still wants to be the dragon deity whyy? And lemme just say the second couple are just there for show LWY and JL love story is soo complex and well written too.

I have to say ju jing yi really improved in her acting and I've been noticing these changes since in blossom.
Today's episode was really good and confusing at the same time glad they cleared that up at the end of the episode and it's making me wonder how the drama will end, will we be getting a Special episode?
Who else noticed that mu long and you chi kind of likes each other, and why is wu wangyan suddenly sooo soft she wasn't this soft, but ig because of the new experiences she had she's changed.

From the trailer I have 2 confirmed deaths so feng and you chi dies ji ling killed them.

How am I supposed to take tian jia ruin seriously when Ik he's so unserious irl lol

FL acting is good but it feels like she's over acting ik she wants to do good since the original drama actors are all veterans. Apart from all that she's nailing the facial expressions honestly

You don't need to honestly there's a lot of flashbacks that will tell you what you need to know to continue

Her character in this drama is definitely not good for om what I can see she's looks down on people and probably deserves whatever happens to her

Ikrr all the ML did was stand aside and watch pitifully, the reason the ML didn't rebel was because he wasn't in the situation. The ML seems to be the non challant type too the one who expects you to understand that he's doing the right thing without telling you.
I just feel it's kind of unfair towards yan xun why is he supposed to just accept the emperor's decree? Why isn't he allowed to revenge? Why is he a bad person all because he wants to avenge a bad person? Since it's that time period too there's no good or bad the world is in chaos too.

Same because wdym my parents were killed for the better good why do they have to die if I was him I would have destroyed the emperor and his palace I'm not feeling the ML for now feels like there are too many villains

I haven't watched princess agents yet but if I was yan xun I'd do the same too. And huge yue too he knew the king will use them as bait I don't really think I'll like his character he comes off as arrogant and non challant idk why some MLs don't like explaining themselves and we are supposed to just accept what he did a lot of things might have been avoided if they'd communicated
