Yup the story is really good I just finished watching it there is no comedy at all except if you might find dome scenes funny which is not BTW. But give it a try and see if it suits you
I feel bad for bai Liang Liang she has the victim complex and fails to see that even she is luckier than rao yuci she had soo much potential to have anything that she wanted without being wicked but she chose the dark side Sha had a potential lover, a mother who just wants the best for her and wants her to live a happy life a step dad that would always listen and she was even smart I wish she used her craftiness to be a good friend and a good person too bad she got jealous of her friend and took everything she had because she was jeous her jealousy was on another level. I liked how all the side characters had their own backstory made me love them more and the plot twists too at the end.
One thing about the FL character is how she pushes everyone away I don't really blame her she'd been hurt but after all her revenge or get back against her friends why do I not feel satisfied it just feels vain all the plot, all the revenge all for that to happen anyways this drama was a good watch a solid 8.5/10 the actors were soo good especially the bai Liang Liang actress I love her, her voice reminds me of yang zi and she looks a bit like her with the shirt hair and long hair too

It was not ridiculous the drama had a great story the only thing I can agree with is maybe the ML as a general they could have made him a lol bit more realistic or maybe see more of him in battle. You said you watched it but then you decided to say how can a mere butcher become a general when it has been made known from the beginning that the FL father was somewhat a fighter and also used to have a position in court they mad e it known from the beginning that the FL had unusual strength than other girls and was taught how to fight by her father yet you are surprised on how a mere butcher whose father brought them to the village because he was involved in what happened to the ML father, either you watched it because you wanted to know what the hype of the drama is or you watched it with your eyes closed you would understand if you were to compare POJ I'd say they did a better job with the story than LOTFG.

Why do y'all hate/dislike POJ it was a great drama with a good story foundation it was good we can't really deny that tho I don't agree with comparisons and all but like maybe you didn't watch it but the drama does deserve it's hype and "butcher woman becoming a great general" your statement is funny which further proves that you didn't watch the drama the writers did a great job by building the story up to that point.
And why is everyone hating the series was not advertised to be season 3 of the original they obviously wrote reset and I kind of enjoyed it but it can't be compared to the original at all I just treated it as another series with the same concept. From what I've gathered or come into conclusion 1) basically the dragon diety is ji ling he just split his soul into two I think ji ling is his childish and just what he longs or want to be since he became a dragon diety with all these responsibilities when he was very young he wasn't able to experience joy fun or love maybe that's why he created ji ling and notice that the dragon diety told ji ling that he's a fox that he saved on the mountains meaning the fox is lu wuyi maybe he saved her back then and if you look at the flashback it all happened in a mountain. 2) because that's his soul I think like part of his soul and the thing he pulled out from him just think of it as a memory card and ji ling as the robot.
