yep even the acting is top tier I like the drama

i agree though there were flaws in their marriage too but instead of her divorcing him when she wasn’t feeling the relationship she went ahead to cheat imagine suffering from heartbreak from your lover whilst still married SHOCKING!!. and I think JJQ marriage began to have cracks because of his best friend disappearance he’s obviously depressed and need someone to talk to but he doesn’t and just shoulders everything, and I feel the only reason he’s still tolerating her is because they have a child together

this drama is so underrated the acting and the actors are really doing a good job they served delivered and ate this up i haven’t watched the kdrama yet but like the plot line and story is really good i have a feeling the drama might end up with them working on each other or maybe date but like i dont know but i feel so much chemistry between I hope they end up together but they need to work on themselves first

why do both leads feel like a natural couple and the second leads too I lovee them, two married friends/best friends the type of relationships I want.

am I the only one who loves li zhi don’t get me wrong li tai is a really good SML that i ended up having the SL syndrome and there are clear differences between both of them which was why i chose li zhi li tai sure will let our FML like do things herself and like always trust her but for li zhi it feels different I like that he always helps her and doesn’t question whatever she does/ asks her to do he is also very caring and smart too. for li tai sure he’s likes the FL independent does not change th fact that he did that to his brother yes li zhi was aware and plotted but he also tried to kill his brother too while being with li tai seems like the perfect one for her since the story is called road to empress and needs to be independent i just feel like li zhi is perfect for her who says she can’t be independent while being with someone who will openly and is willing to protect her and is submissive to with li zhi everything just feels perfect i dont know if there is anyone who feels this way or get where I’m trying to come from.

sure FL is nice and has a kind heart but not everyone needs saving right I wanna say she has a saviour complex but like I get it they wanna portray her as someone with a big heart, but she doesn’t…. anyways

if it was a commoner or merchant that did this LLF will not do what he did at the end of the day it is historical so i understand

I also did not like the way it was portrayed k complained about it. they were definitely being glorified and the case left a bad taste in my mouth i feel really bad for the sister and the merchant deserves death but those sheriffs took matter into their own hands and killed those people some were even innocent too.

ik but like I just didn’t like how like the Sherrie’s and everyone was like praiseing their deeds and if you notice su wuming was not there either like lu lingfeng it is biased, because if a commoner did this it would not be like this

oh I mean that if it was another story with the same plot like this to make the FL not have like a romantic relationship with the ML the ML will have to be written to be extremely unlikeable(but with some trauma) and then like the idea you had on the original comment it might work like that

maybe butthat wiuld be a different story entirely but yeah for them not to be romantically involve the ML has to be really unlikeable right?. but since it has a romance tag there might just be a slight tomance between both of them

yes and this is very annoying to see they are the demons but just in another form i want to call it delusion.

it’s still 2 episodes but i disagree while it may happen but it is highly likely that they’d end up together( with the kpop idol) ML has already been traumatised and hasn’t had any freedom since he was 10, to the fL ML saved her life when she was at her lowest, while we mught not see them date at the end or we might get an open ending of them either smiling at each ither or living tigether secluded while they build their romantic relationship but she will def not end up with the secretary the secretary alr has a love line with the ML ex girlfriend
