the humorous dialogues of crash landing on you were hilarious.. esp by the guy who always talks back at the FL..the…
I've watched a lot of K-dramas but can't seem to get into the newer ones. As for "Crash landing on you" so far I wasn't able to finish the 2nd ep. What newer K-dramas do you feel are worth checking out? With "Well Intended Love" yes it had it's issues but for me being away from dramas for a while it was like a refresh & pulled me back into the world of dramas. Do you have any cdramas that you recommend?
I strongly agree with #1 ex."The World of the Married" it could have ended at 6ep & I would have been happy but it dragged. Another thing that I can't stand is the "comedy" moments in some dramas "sky castle" I felt that the parts weren't needed. It makes me not want to watch a drama b/c I find it annoying or when the humor just doesn't work "Crash landing on you". Yes to #3, I moved to C-dramas & that changed everything (Bromance & Well Intended Love) I highly recommend both if you haven't seen them.
With the finale I feel as thought they wasted a lot of time 40 minutes (before getting to what actually happened) The beginning of the drama was a 10/10 but over time it went down hill for me, overall I give it a 7.5-8/10
This show has been amazing, I just finished ep 6! I would be fine if it ended there, I don't think it needs to be 16ep (I have a feeling it might get dragged out too far)
I've only see a bit of Hyori's B&B and Youn's Kitchen 2 I'm going to check it out. I want to watch Little Forest it seems like a fun show. I also recommend "Little House In The Forest w/ Park Shin Hye & So Ji Sub" I missed that show sooo much when it was over (I wish they did a part 2).
I had watched this drama up to ep.7 but ended up dropping it b/c I found the brother to be annoying, the comedy not working, how the kids irritated me w/ how they spoke. Ha Ji Won is one of my favorite actress but this is okay. I've never watched Yoon Kye Sang in a drama before this one.
For a long time I've been bored with dramas & struggled to find anything to watch. I've tried watching new actors & themes which was quite helpful. For K-dramas is was more difficult b/c of the comedy they add I didn't find it funny but more annoying & not needed. I went to J-dramas like What Did You Eat Yesterday? which was very enjoyable (9/10). Then I decided to give Encounter a try (I was curious about Park Bo Gum) & it got me back into K-drams. I'm currently watching Chocolate (it's great but her brother is annoying). I've also moved to C-drama Well Indented Love has been great (I haven't seen may C-dramas, it's refreshing)
I would say I Hear Your Voice is worth watching I don't remember any of the comedy from it (it's been a long time). Cheese in the trap was okay (7/10) for me. I recommend watching the Japanese version of The Liar and His Lover & Zettai Kareshi (Absolute Boyfriend). I haven't seen the Korean versions of the shows.
This is what I've been going threw for a while now ( I've been watching dramas for many years since the mysoju days). I tried to get back into k-dramas but just can't, so I moved on to J-dramas again I've seem some good ones & some bad but they seem a bit more watchable for now.
I just watched Principal - Koi Suru Watashi wa Heroine Desu Ka? It was sooo good & I loved the scenery!! I'm excited for the next parts & to check out the rest :)
Great Article, I hadn't watched a drama in a while (couldn't find anything that captured my interest) & randomly tried Chugakusei Nikki. After watching I was hooked; the cast, filming & music ect. is soo good! I haven't felt this excited about a drama in a long time . I was shocked it was Okada's first acting role (I've seen a lot of J-dramas & many of the actors/actress in this drama are new to me). They all have done an amazing job, I hope others will give this drama a try.
I'm one of the people who enjoy both j-dramas & k-dramas. Similar to you my first korean drama was Full House for Japan it was 15 Sai no Blues. Back then i watched more j-dramas i then watched the classics Hana Kimi & Gokusen which help to set up my favorite Japanese actors, that i still follow today along with various others. Over the years with k-dramas becoming more popular i found it more difficult to follow up with j-dramas not many things mentioned about them. I later moved to k-dramas, from time to time i mix the two (watching at same time). I have favorite actors from both. If i want something short to watch i'll go with j-dramas for k-dramas i like the longer series as well. I find j-dramas are more straight to the point. Looking at it now i have seen more k-dramas/movies then J-dramas/moves. i discovered k-pop (2008) after j-rock/pop (2006-07). For me as my music changed so did the dramas i tried. Lastly, it would be nice if watchers gave them both a chance.
