As someone else said, most actors know that acting probably won't last forever, so they prepare for their future…
Some Thai actors are even pursuing PhDs, although I'm not sure if that means they plan to go into an academic career later.
The two I can think of right now are Mew, who is working on a PhD in industrial engineering and Up, who is working on his PhD in political science. I'm sure there are others.
wait, hang on? Mix is an actual vet? Thailand's industry is so bizarre to me. It's like acting really is just…
As someone else said, most actors know that acting probably won't last forever, so they prepare for their future by building other skill sets just in case.
Mix is a real veterinarian, Jimmy is a real doctor, and a number of well-known Thai actors also have jobs in the airline industry (pilots, airline stewards, etc), as well as being actors.
Plus many of them also start side businesses (food, fashion, real estate, talent agencies, production companies, etc) as additional income.
I thought Boat and Oat were an official pairing? Maybe I misunderstood.
And the series description above is SO cringe. Ew. ---------------------
"Bamee (Ramen) - the epitome of dark, tall and handsome. His muscles are to die for, and his hotness is second to none. More than anything, he's a big "eater" with a "huge appetite." Bamee is an intern in a 5-star hotel where he falls for his trainer since their first meeting.
Gyogung (shrimp wonton) - a trainer in the hotel's HR department. He may be older than Bamee by almost 3 years, but he looks young enough to pass for a college freshman! The cuteness of the young man and his lovely bangs, the glowing moon pale skin, the innocent seduction and overall "appetizing" appearance and actions make Bamee hungry for this little bowl of shrimp wonton 24/7!
"P'Gyo...my little string of...ramen...is stuck to the corner of your mouth...""
Chen Ye Sheng's excellent BL series, called The Sparkle in Your Eye, is not listed on MDL because MDL says they can't list Singaporean dramas and movies on their website, even thought it's supposed to be for ASIAN (which I thought included Singapore??) shows.
It's bizarre.
But anyway........please do watch it if you can. It's very well acted and directed.

I **really** hate it when subtitles are incomplete. It's so frustrating.
Can anyone who speaks Thai please tell me what Sack's father said on the phone when Sack was standing in the woods with a gun, surrounded my Jom and the other people from the village? There were no subtitles for anything his Dad was saying on the phone.
I assume Sack's Dad was explaining who Yo's father is, but I want to know **exactly** what he said that prompted Sack to call his men off and leave.
Not sure about the grandfather living inside his grandson's body while his grandson is experiencing lust and sexy time. Does that kinda feel squicky to anyone else?
KristSingto have the most natural chemistry. It's incredible.
I just watched Ep 5, and I wonder if anyone else has a weird brain like me?
In the very last scene which just **starts** to be an NC scene.....the camera cuts to the lip balm rolling on the floor. When it rolls to the perfect stop, my brain - instead of thinking of the NC action.......went......."I wonder how many takes they had to do just to get the perfect shot of the lip balm??" LOL
I was surprised it was earphones that Khanin asked Chakri to order, I thought he wanted Lube and Condoms π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£πππππππWhat…
The pink thing that fell out of the vase when it broke just looked like a candy wrapper or flower petals. I don't think it was anything important.

The opening OST and the characters on the screen are in Chinese, but it's supposedly a Thai production??
Does that mean all of the dialogue will be in Chinese, too?
Is it a Thai production so they could get around the Chinese censors?
I ended up L'ingMAO all the way through Ep 7.
The acting is horrific, and the supposedly NC action (and the dialogue DURING the "action") is ridiculous.
I mean, it's BAD.
REALLY, really BAD.
What a dumb excuse for a series.
It's bizarre.
But anyway........please do watch it if you can. It's very well acted and directed.

(The original series is from 2015. It's called "Falling in Love with a Rival." https://kisskh.at/15024-falling-in-love-with-a-rival )
It sounds like he's got a natural talent for directing. I wish him every happiness on his new path.
