Am I the only one who doesn't mind, and in fact is a little amused about, the cheap costumes and special effects?
I feel like I'm watching a story from a comic book, and I love how cheesy and fun it is.
And even with the shortcuts on the SFX budget, I REALLY like the acting. The actors / their characters feel a lot more natural and comfortable with each other than most other Chinese series I've seen.
It’s obvious Sorn cant getenough of Jun. Next week is going to be so good! Finally, Jun will take a firm stand…
Sadly, it'll be the embargo on the booty calls that affects Sorn more than Jun being hurt by Sorn's inability to be vulnerable and share his feelings. So frustrating.
Is there such thing as privacy in this show? Like private conversations or private sex? Maybe I'm just old. No…
That too, LOL.
Having a wild romp or discussing plans to overthrow someone......I'm like......HELLO???? Are you not worried someone will hear you through that shoji-style paper door, window or wall??

I've lost count how many times, in various series, that one or more of the couples are going at it like rabbits, and they never shut the door before they got busy.
A somewhat unrelated, but related observation / idea......
Is anyone else hoping that someday, there's a series or a BL where Boss and Boat play brothers? There is more than a passing resemblance, especially when they both have their hair pulled back.
They could be rival brothers, each trying to take over the family business, only to find they must join forces when there's an outside threat to the family.
One could be a university professor (Oh, how I LOVE LOVE LOVE Boat when he's wearing glasses), and one could be a total playboy. They are so different that they have drifted apart over the years, only to be drawn back together when the matriarch of the family has a serious health crisis and some big decisions have to be made.
One could be an artist who lives in a remote area on the coast, creating amazing sculptures out of steel and driftwood as he isolates his heart after having it crushed by an unfaithful partner years before. Because his family never kept in touch with each other, he's unaware that he has a half brother from a relationship that their shared father had a long time ago. One day the two brothers meet purely by accident, and even though there's an age difference, they look so much alike they begin to suspect they might be related. Each of them realizes the other one is the family connection they've been searching for all their lives, and they start to bond.
Again, these could be BL series (with Noeul and Oat as their respective partners) or they could be non-BL. Either way, I would love to see Boss and Boat play brothers in something.
Keen seducing Thun on the dance floor, and the amplified sound of Thun breathing faster and faster as he laser-focused on Keen and forgot about everyone else in the room was........wow.

I'm a little floored, TBH.
I love the characters. And as completely inept as Chubby is, I adore him.

And that creepy, CREEPY smile from the Ping Ting character at the end of Ep 2.......seriously, that sent shivers down my spine.

KILLS me every time, lol.

They were at it forever with the fam downstairs, never questioning why it was taking HOURS for Sorn and Jun to reappear. CRACKED me up. HAHAHAHA.
Not awkward as in first (real) kiss - I know they kissed once before, but that wasn't a real one, IMO.
I mean awkward as in Charan's lip positions were strange.
Khanin did fine, but Charan's lips were stuck out like Donald Duck, lol.
It means the commenter is saying if THEY were the character named Yut, they would go for Than instead of Keen, because they think Than is hotter.
So the dance floor did it for me more than the car (which, admittedly, was great).
