I really want to spoil the book lol cause they cut a scene that would've explain why the brother was so vehemently…
"So what happened with lil bro and QL was very different than in the book. QL accidentally met YC at the bar without lil bro, and QL thought YC was his lil bro because in the book they look a lot like each other (which is probably why they didn't do it in the series), and QL mistook him for lil bro. They met again, and long story short, YC had sex with QL in a car, and QL carried YC to lil bro apartement cause he thought YC is the lil bro. But lil bro opened the door, but after the revelation, lil bro actually force QL to date YC, which QL agreed. through out their dating, lil bro made sure QL be the perfect LF and the charade was continue but QL actually liked lil bro, and YC still hung up on LF which irritated QL as well. Then the almond cake things happens like in the show, but QL had sex with YC afterwards, calling YC name, but actually calling the lil bro (cause lil bro and YC both had the same name, Yi Chen), and YC had the forboding feeling that QL wasn't calling him. But YC found LF was engaged, so he decided to fully forget him and focus on QL, but when he got into his brother flat, QL was there fighting lil bro basically revealing the whole charade to YC, and QL was basically non-challantly apologizing to YC for mistaking him and had sex with him thinking he was his lil bro, and YC ran away, after falling from the stair iirc, leaving lil bro and QL to another city."
Good freaking grief. THANK THE BL GODS we didn't get any of THAT ^^^^^ mess in the series.

What we DID get was this, but altered:
"So basically when LF accused YC of sleeping with other men, YC couldn't retort back because he HAD sleep with someone else, and that person was QL thanks to the lil bro." <--------------- which, in the series, was changed to LF accusing YC of sleeping with other men, but YC just kept quiet and let LF assume he had slept with other men, when he actually didn't.
There's a short documentary on YouTube about Ayden Sng (who plays Lu Feng), where the cameras follow him as he goes back to Duke University, his alma mater in the U.S., to revisit some places that hold a lot of memories for him.
The brother is a total jerk. Firstly, that nosy prick has the nerve to accuse Lu Feng of being selfish and irresponsible…
Not only that, but has the younger brother - now that he, too, has realized he's gay - ever apologized for how he treated his older brother in the past, when he realized YC was gay?
"Soul Mate" is about the deepest of love stories, an uncommon, unbreakable bond between two men who met at a terrible moment in both of their lives and made a profound, years-long impact on each other.
It's never physically expressed in the obvious way. There are no kisses and no sexual intimacy of any kind. But the intimacy of true friendship and companionship is there for all to see. And it's beautiful.
Some will no doubt be disappointed by the lack of "sizzle" and NC scenes, and some will act offended that this series was advertised as a romance at all. But I would argue that this series is incredibly romantic in its own way.
Now that I have watched the last episode, I am heartbroken. But I am also very glad to have watched this lovely series. It will stay with me for a long time.
Why have i never seen lee hong nae in a drama before?? Where has this gorgeous man been all my life? Thank you…
If you watched the Uncanny Counter series (season 1, with a few cameos in season 2), he played a man possessed by an evil spirit. His character usually wore a hoodie or some kind of hat.
I simply ADORE Yoo Soo Bin, the actor who's playing Choi Hyeon (the Grand Prince's personal assistant).
I mean I ADORE that man with my whole heart. Every character I've seen him play is exactly my kind of guy - goofy, funny as hell, sexy in a hot nerdy mess kind of way, and LOYAL as hell, right down to his DNA.

And is it just me, or is the all black interior of Tiger's house depressing as hell??
Most ppl are posting on the regular FY2 page, as opposed to this FY2 (Uncut) page.

I read that they were a HUGE hit in High School Frenemy (which I didn't watch) and had everyone saying they gave distinctive "BL-potential" vibes.
It'll be interesting to see how far their relationship goes in Wu.

He was perfectly cast in this series.
