When the Tencent Award host asked if the latter part of TLI is too cruel, ZL said it's not too cruel. She likened…
Chasing the Wife to Crematorium in Chinese is 追妻火葬场, it's a Chinese phrase that describes the male protagonist chasing the female (追妻 - chase wife) typically after not adequately appreciating her initially (ie. being cold or arrogant etc.), resulting in him losing his wife (either literally like death or emotionally or maybe even both), in order to get her back he goes down a challenging journey full of obstacle (火葬场 - crematorium). In a genre context, it usually involves a plot where the main initiator of the romance / first to develop feeling is the female lead while the male lead doesn't reciprocate and after certain reasons such as heartbreak, he loses the female lead. To win back/ please the heroine, he undergoes a series of trials and tribulations. Hope my explanation helps haha.

for real though, like i hate when people get possess/ replaced and no one around them notice but i think its because shes the leader so no one really dares to question, her lover is just glad she forgave him and that they are lovey dovey again and the 3 of them had history together so the girl that posses her can fool him with memories from (ruo and his past) honestly i think she was mad jelly and stalk them every time they went on dates so she knew alot :') hong yi didn't notice because he has guilt so he felt it was reasonable she treats him like that now and since the relationship between the god and demon world was never good they probably don't mind her hating the god world. what bugs me is how no one noticed she had escape, like wasn't she in prison ;-; why is there no one guarding her also ruo voice is kinda annoying especially now that she's possess and speaks in !!! help me omg she was so sweet before

Title The Last Immortal Spoiler
Some thoughts about the threads of love.1) Someone yesterday mentioned that GuJin really didn't destroy them,…
I love your theory. I was thinking the same. The second theory offers a plausible explanation for a significant plot hole that bothered me Ah Yin really wanted to inform Gu Jin about someone taking his love thread (which I love, I love that she wanted to just share everything rather than adopting a mindset of oh I have to handle everything mindset, she really is so cute) According to the god of love, she couldn't reveal this information because once someone learns their love thread was taken, it disappears entirely. However, when San Sheng Shi found the thread, she told him before showing him. Surprisingly, the thread didn't break, suggesting he might have already formed a new one, transforming the old thread into a vessel for "feelings with memories" that strengthen his new connection. His subtle reactions, from him being shy when she was getting his measurements and him having dreams about her (lol I watch the dream bubble scene so many time) really seem like he has feelings again. As the love god said, removing the thread means the memory stays but the feeling is taken away. His decision to not tell her the truth really bugged me so I was kinda happy she told him I won't bug you anymore after he came looking for her in the afterlife realm. Regarding the third theory, perhaps he refrains from revealing the truth could be due to this, his aunt mentions that as his power awakens he will begin to lose "human feelings" and begin to take on the responsibility that comes with his power/ role. The old version of himself would likely attempt to address the situation alongside Ah Yin instead of simply believing the aunt's word that their love would jeopardize the entire clan. Also like its funny his aunt says it's in destiny that their love is not meant to be but every time she tries to change Gu Jin's destiny's trial, i don't know whether that makes sense. Like she says it's in destiny that their love is not meant to be so stop trying to change it but on the other hand she always tries to change his destiny trial.

Her dramas have great reviews and ratings. I think I should plan to watch her team up with Leo Wu.
Yes you definitely should. LLTG still lives in my heart.

Is the synopsis correct? Or the character names? Something seems a little fishy about that.
The translation is based on the official synopsis posted on Baidu.
Heres is the link if you're interested: https://baike.baidu.com/item/%E7%8F%A0%E5%B8%98%E7%8E%89%E5%B9%95/59958264

I tried to translate it as well as possible as there is some Chinese wording that is more poetic, the synopsis is not machine translated. :') For instance, one of the coloured jewelry they introduced is called "瑟瑟" which was an old way of referring to blue gemstones that were quite rare at the time (i think MDL removed the detail and just left sapphire). The phrase "打入谷底," translated as "beaten to the bottom," in Chinese carries the meaning of being brought to the lowest point in life. The synopsis is based on the novel. The names are all correct. Which part do you not understand? Duan Wu begins as a slave and escapes, with Zhang Jin Ran likely being the character who saves her during her escape (potentially Tang Xiao Tian),Yue Yun Xiu appears to be a secondary female lead (possibly Xie Ke Yin/Chloe Xie), serving as a supportive friend to Duan Wu in her business ventures. But keep in mind they are altering the story so this is the synopsis for now. Don't be alarmed; NYL is indeed the male lead. As a hypothesis, he appears to be a complex character (grey character) who initially mistreats/ maybe even looks down on the female lead but eventually recognizes her skills/ charms and develops feelings for her. I will update it if a better synopsis comes out.

Guys, just a friendly reminder to check if the photo has already been posted before uploading. Some fans are struggling to find specific photos, and duplicates make it even more challenging. It's fine if they're similar, but let's avoid reposting the exact same ones repeatedly. Please and thanks.

I get what you mean. Because most of the time is one sided love from ayin, when gu jin finally fell in love, they…
not to stand up for the director or anything but its because the original novel is pretty old, so these cliche plot was common/ popular, (sacrificing for the greater good, evil second FL gets mistaken for heroine) honestly i think last immortal is better then alot of other old xianxia cliche plot already ;-; the Ml is so much better like he actually doesn't about the boundaries between him and a yin, its just the noisy family that think they know better

Title A Journey to Love Spoiler
I don’t see why so many people are completely refusing to accept other people's interpretations of that ending.…
Your analysis is articulate and resonates with my own perspective. It does seem peculiar to dismiss it as a mere dream, especially the vivid portrayal of everyone riding horses in the distance and subsequently riding away but once the camera focuses on her hugging the boy we don't see the squad, even the mere idea of them riding away from her is weird, like when she had the flashback her idea was of him coming towards her (not sure if i'm making sense).

The introduction of twins and the little boy's mention of his father favouring his sister, along with her taking the mother's last name, The reference to Uncle Ding could only point to Ding Hui. If this were a dream, this is what one would expect to align more closely with scenarios that RY or NYZ might dream about at least someone close that knew details of their relationship/ the squad.

My interpretation is that the sight of the entire squad was triggered by her embrace/ interaction with Ning 13. It suggests that through his words and description, the child embodies qualities of happiness, health, and trust, which align with the collective aspirations of everyone in the squad. Like unless the actress needed more screen time it shoulda have been YY "dreaming".

Also, let's be honest, is RY really someone who would commit suicide? The deliberate mention of no corpse is so weird too. Also, I remember NYZ still has QZ life-saving pills I think. Considering these factors, it seems plausible that they mutually agreed to stage their deaths and make a getaway together. While some may argue that surviving ten spikes seems improbable, to be fair they both fake their death at the beginning of the story (with so many episodes showing how invincible they are) so it seems more in their character to end the journey that way as well. In XianXia, choosing to be perceived as deceased to lead a normal, peaceful life away from prying eyes is a common theme/ ending. (but as this drama became popular for its realistic plots maybe the director wanted everyone that loved the drama to give it their own perspective of a perfect ending. )

by red fox i mean SML, in the live stream lusi explain he was possessed making him do something bad that he didn't want to. remember the scene where everything is destroyed, i think after taking over his body she lead her group to destroy the mountain (I'm only on 10 rn and she been wanting a vessel to possess and he was her top choice but the aunt gave him the bracelet to protect him and got her so she might possess her first which ima be so annoyed to see so hoping im wrong on that i'm thinking since he hates his aunt he doesn't want her protection so in the near future he will find a way to remove it im guessing.

major spoiler: from what i know so far im guessing it will go something like this, the red fox gets possessed by that evil flower girl and destroys the entire mountain killing everyone along with it (ML and Fl's home) and some butt face (prob the ML's aunt and ugly peacock lady etc) sets a yin up to look like she was in on it and raise a rait to punish her and boom ML has to kill her and to stand up for the fox + him not trusting her (based on the trailer) he punishes her which ultimately kills her (shes a little fairy she already has a fragile life)

exactly my thought. when I saw this spoiler I felt a yin's pain :') I can't find the picture anymore but there is one where he has the big sword above her remember when he first found the sword kinda like that (that's the sword's true/ ultimate form) I was guessing 19 bc lusi said revenge arc after 20 but idk lolll you can look at the beginning of this video: https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1Hu4y1u7XC/?share_source=copy_web&t=1 honestly it was fate because she has to go through trial and in order to save the phoenix queen he made a deal to go through trial as well and his master knew their love was destine to be miserable

what do you think?
