I didn't watch Road to Kingdom the first time but from what I see it feels like this time around the rules were made to breed contempt between groups and members. I watched Kingdom and I thought they were unfair on that sometimes, but this is next level!!! Will keep watching though because these boys deserve our support if nothing else.

I honestly don't know how I am supposed to feel about the ending?!? Is it supposed to be sweet or is it creepy?!? The series started off kind of interesting but took a sharp left, though I can't really pin point where. I am not familiar with the source material so I can't judge it on it's faithfulness. First I watched it for Keito but stayed for Dori! That man could sit on screen doing nothing and I would watch faithfully lol. First the wife got off too easy (pun intended, maybe,?!?). She basically seduces a child (I know not literally but basically) yet she gets the happiest of endings?!? Also the conversation Shino had with her husband ended her blaming him for her cheating. That is such a stereotypical woman excuse for cheating, "I was lonely". Sorry but that is bullshit reasoning!!! If you are not happy, you get a divorce, then move on! Maybe it is harder for women in Japan and I know there is still a stigma attached to being a divorced woman. So like I said I was enjoying it but and now left kind of numb by it. On a lighter note....Who would cheat on Dori?!? The man is a GOD!!!
I enjoyed it overall and the acting was amazing. My issue is because it's a prequel and we already know what happens in the future, the tension and angst is anticlimactic. I honestly would have rather them do a series of them but as a sequel so we see how their relationship develops. I did think it was cute that Won Young showed up so it so they met in the past. Like I said I did really like it. I am just not a huge fan of prequels in general. The kisses though!!! Top tier!!!

BL special episodes are generally known for having a hot NC scene (if it was that kind of series) so I had high hopes for at least that, but the ones during the series were hotter. Also I hate when special episodes show a bunch of clips from the series. To me that is just lazy!!! I know it was only one episode but was hoping for some alone time with each couple. I enjoyed the main series, but I don't think I will watch the special episode again.
I admit at first I was very confused about timelines and which parts happened in which timeline but BOC is good at making you doubt your sanity then bring it all together in the end. For me this series is all about fate and destiny, which I am a huge believer in, and you get what you ultimately deserve in the end. No matter how much to try and change it by altering your decision process. Your fate/destiny will come for you one way or another. Bas is truly an amazing actor and I hope he gets more big roles like this to showcase it!! I love BasFuaiz but I also love JJayFuaiz so I am torn on those couplings. Even though Win has to live knowing his love just basically used him then died, I feel like there should have been some legal ramifications for him. I assume Win tipped off Kla when they originally went to the house to find him. There was a lot of great twists and turns. Some predictable and some not. Bible playing a more vulnerable character was amazing and definitely showed his acting range!!! Poor Fuaiz gets killed by JJay in both of their series now lol. The Korn and Kla death scene was very Kinnporsche (Pete when Vegas got shot) and also UWMA (IFYKYK). I want my hubby to watch this series because I think he would enjoy the overall story but the amount of boy bum might make him uncomfortable lol. Anyways I gave it 10 and will definitely watch again!!!
