I just watched about 5 minutes of the first episode. Gladly the age difference isn't visible at all (atleast in my opinion, but perhaps im blind). The male lead's acting was a bit weird in Ikemen Desu Ne but he seems to be 10 times better now. I'm really dissapointed in the ost though if the one played in the intro is gonna be the main one. Getting an ost on the level of the taiwanese version is impossible but this one has that generic love pop song vibe, which doesn't fit in the least. Perhaps the lyrics are touching tho? I just hope a better one will pop up in the remaining minutes of the episode. I was really scared the main lead was gonna look to, how to say it, cute? But I think it's okay. I'm not really sure about the female lead, she has way more expression than Barbie, but I'm not sure if that's how it is in the manga? This whole comment was based off the first 5-6 minutes so I know it's waaaay too early to judge but I felt like expressing my first impression.
loved the first episode! The characters are all really great. I laughed so much throughout the whole episode and so much happened :) Hope it stays this good
Everyone is reacting to her acne like she is a monster and asking why do you have those lumps on your face etc,......It's…
Haven't watched it but I thought the same when I read the sypnosis. I know plenty of people with bad acne and no one avoids them. I've been blessed with clear skin, yet I never thought of others as disgusting for having pimples or acne.
But I guess the drama should be taken very lightly.
Baek In Ho reminds me quite a bit of Gong Tae Kwang (school 2015). Not in looks but in personality.
o my god I'm so stupid. I didn't connect the attack part with him not being able to play piano because of that anymore. It all makes sense now xD I must've dazed off or something to miss that loool.
And the part about the autistic seems to make sense and would explain some things. Though I doubt they'd put an autistic main-lead in a kdrama.
In a general kdrama the reason for his behaviour would probably be damage of his trust. I remember him saying to seol she's just the same as everyone else. He also seems to have an obsession with wanting to eat together. I wonder what the reason for that is

I still feel bad for him ignoring IH. Really wonder why he did that.
I feel like they didn't really talk about that particular scene enough. Most of their talks seem to be more about family related things. I keep thinking YJ's dad might have been responsible for the siblings ending up poor, though they felt bad so they still gave them money. In Ho doesn't want it so that's why he's living alone, but In Ha doesn't mind (she told him to just swallow his pride). Though I might have missed hints about that not being possible

It's nice to see how things can affect people differently. His character makes this whole drama a lot of fun, figuring him out.
That post actually described them so accurately (as of what is shown until now). It's so nice that there are secrets and hidden pasts to be revealed. Remember that flashback eith IH being attacked by classmates? Was YJ ignoring him. Is that what made him dislike YJ most? Was YJ perhaps the reason he got kicked? The scene was a bit unclear to me, what do you think?

exactly ^^
To be honest it's really hard. Both characters reveal too little backstory. I liked Yoo Jung most until he confessed. His character confuses me so much, I don't know what he's thinking, and that's why it's hard for me to root for him. For now I'm leaning a bit more towards Baek In Ho, because I like that reckless behaviour more than Yoo Jung's composed behaviour.

So true. To be honest I think it was really a waste to not let Eunbi end up with Tae Kwang. With some dramas I can understand why they don't end up with the second lead, no matter how terrible the second-lead syndrome is. Like for example in Boys Over Flowers. Her ending up with the second-lead would've ruined the whole story.
But in school 2015 that isn't really the case. Mostly because romance isn't the main factor. Though they shouldn't let her fall for him in like the last 2 episodes, but very slowly from the start.
Joo Hyuk surely has the potential when it comes to looks. But the acting needs to improve and he needs more presence, I think he'll get there though. Looking at the other characters Baek In Ha's behaviour seems to jump out a bit so I guess it's due to her acting. Like the whole drama has this mellow feeling and someone acting all hyper and loud seems kinda out of place. But perhaps I'm wrong lol.

I think your feeling is right. Really doubt the writers would do that indeed
