I guess this is solely because of preferences. Most people on MDL (or generally) watch Kdrama for the romance, so they naturally dont like dramas like this. This is why I dont rate romcoms, I almost dopped all of them but dont rate them a six just because I am not into the genre. Wish they would do the same

I have crohn's disease myself and thought the representation was actually pretty accurate. I was also at one point where we had no control of the symptoms, I had to get a stoma and it's absolute crap, you feel like your life is at an end. It IS a horrible wicked disease and people generally judge you for it like those parents did in the drama. People need to understand this was a portrayal of a patient at one of the worst states of this disease and it was not stigmatizing in my opinion. I found it rather good to show people the reality of how bad it can get

I think nobody dies in the opening scene (at least not for good) because the synopsis would make zero sense then lol
