From 2016 as a whole, hands down I'll have to give it to Signal. I loved the ost so much I ended up buying the ost album for the first time, in over 10+ years of watching K dramas. Aside from the Signal OST I also enjoyed: 10cm - If you come & Alex - Small breaks (Woman from a Suitcase ost), SURAN - Step by step (Jealously Incarnate OST), The where abouts of Love - Maximilian Hecker (Age of Youth OST), Map of Dreams - Kim Sawol (Unofficial ost track played on Let's fight Ghost) & most recent "Stay with me" - Chanyeol & Punch (Goblin OST).... and pretty much most of the tracks off Goblin lol.
I'm really curious about the theory behind Deok Hwa being a deity. I couldn't see it happening before,…
I hope they go through that route because then he'll have something to offer to the drama aside from playing a character who just wants his credit card for comedic purposes.
have anyone here watched "High-Rise"? American movie adoptaion of JGBallard book? this story has a lot…
I was getting Snow piercer vibes to it, but looking at the High Rise film outline - it does hold a lot of similarity. Looks like I a have a few things to watch, thanks! :)
Well this show is maked to sell in other countries where people dont complain about loud music in tv show, where…
Take it easy, the viewers have the right to complain - it's just not their cup of tea. They're allowed to put their frustrations online, as do you and I.
Dropped. I'm a fan of dramas that are away from the typical trend but this is so bland and superficial. It feels like being forced to watch the Kardashians. To have such a great ensemble cast...... sighs..
This drama is a good watch it does get draggy in the last few eps, but it's worth watching. It's also my first time seeing a male lead that's not homophobic and isn't afraid to be affectionate towards a gay male, as a friend.
I've watched all aside from Love 020, and my pick would be Age of Youth. You don't have to be a college student to relate to this drama, and it's one of the very few Korean Drama gems. Actually I don't think I've come across a drama that really went into depth on it's characters. If you have the patience, it gets better by the episode.
Reply 1994 isn't so bad though if there's a competitive streak in you - you'll end up either incredibly happy with the ending or downright miserable haha.
Cheese in the Trap - what can I say..... a drama that had it all; great cast, ost and ruined it after the second half of the drama. Honestly it felt like mid way they decided to change the writers. It's a drama that should've been A+ but settled for B-. Though I wouldn't cross this drama off completely, it's a good filler.
Bring it On Ghost is a pretty good drama - and a lot of people liked it. I enjoyed it's case by case episode format, and the supporting actors.I couldn't finish the drama off and dropped it, I just wasn't a fan of the pairing. I couldn't find the female lead's character likeable and Taecyeon's acting needs more work.
This is what happens when you've watched Signal - a lot of dramas just fall flat.
