Wow! Ep 14 put me down on my knees for real! I must say this drama isn't the grandest yet has the ability to transcend into you in multitudes! Yeom family's pain felt like it was my own too! Never imagined that a drama like this can gather all the might to confront and slap me on a personal level! Whew! That was the purest pinch in the heart so far! If you're hesitating because this drama might seem slow and dragging, then please reconsider and comment down if you regret falling in to the bait of my review or comment back if Yeom's family were able to cut through your senses too!
You misunderstood She wanted freedom at the same time she loved him more than her freedom She clearly said ,she…
Well, I'm glad you interpreted it that way. The word "misunderstood" felt like your invalidating my perspective. I respect yours , so yeah let's keep it that way π
She chose to meet him in the afterlife. She was the one that first asked her friends "what if one of us doesn't…
I was actually contemplating on wok of love but the number of episode is what halts me π But well I guess you are the go signal! Thanks! I really appreciate you taking time to reply back on me! Happy Kdrama-ing π

Wow! Thanks for the input. I watched Run On but dropped after ep 2 π I love the FL though. She is so pretty. But if you mind me sharing my all time fave kdrama, which I will share regardless haha well, the series Because This Is My First Life. I know for some the story is nothing out of the ordinary but personally, it's not a just a series it was a "feeling" for me. π I don't know why it touched me to depth but yeah I really enjoyed it. I'll try the throne I'm sure that will be interesting considering how Sado became mentally unstable I'm sure the backstory is juicy.
Anyway, please recommend some romcom my anxiety is a lil on a bump right now and I need some silver lining π

I know right. But honestly this series made me realized how interesting this particular Korean era is. It made me want a time machine. I refused to watch period dramas tbh. But now I understand what the clamor is all about. I mean the intricacy of costumes, the character's demeanor etc. I mean it really fascinated me. Well, I actually can't believe that I'm starting to research more about Korean history now, the Joseon dynasty in particular. There's really something about this era, I felt like it was mythically liveable β¨

Hi! I appreciate you taking time to explain it. But it doesn't change the fact that my POV is different from yours. After all, true love doesn't hurt if it's the otherwise then, obviously it isn't . Honestly, that's how I felt all throughout the series. It felt like everything was forced and just done out of responsibilities. I can't deny the fact that there's love between them. But it wasn't solid enough to cut through my core.
But ultimately, understanding this series still boils down to its ability to connect to the viewers in multitude of judgement. That whether how you want to see it, your views are valid, regardless how other appreciates it. π₯°
you failed to understand the message of the story, maybe you'll watch it later after a while hopefully and understand…
Although this was based on a true story, at the end of the day it is still a fiction. And interpretation still varies depending on your POV unless it was deliberate and obvious. As I've said I realized that her liberty weighs way more than her feelings for ML and I stand by it coz that's how I see it. All throughout the story all I see was a one way love effort (well let's say there's some feelings from FL it wasn't powerful enough to convince me though) I understand how you appreciated the story but I don't understand where you get the impression that I only watched the latter part lol. Your opinion and POV is valid for sure, as well as mine though just saying π₯°
Just realized how hapless The romance it is for ML. FL never wanted to be loved to begin with and equally worst for not wanted to be loved even in the after life. But until the very end MLβ s love for FL showed the other way around, his love for her was apparent even after the rest of his life! The FL subtly soaked us into a fact that it was all forced after all. All she wanted was freedom. That her liberty weighs heavier that her romantic desires (if thereβs any).
Nevertheless, this will never change the fact that Junhoβs acting here was impeccable!
My opinion maybe the only one who'll walk against the wind about this drama, but aside from Junho's out of this world acting, I think there's nothing really special about this drama. Though I will not discourage you to watch coz my perspective might differ yours. But yeah, Junho is really something! I guess he is the sole reason why I made it through til Ep. 17
This drama oddly gave me a satisfying view on pain. It showed me pain in spectrum, that struggles may go or linger forever but there's always a way to be in terms with it... People in general has an innate ability to climb up the rubbles, dust their selves off, and move forward! Just between Lovers made me realized that whoever you are, your pain and struggles are valid! It doesn't discriminate.
I loved how the story was stitched, it may have some loopholes, it may not be the grandest of all, but it really touched my core in multitudes.
If you're still hesitating to watch this, and currently struggling in life, you might wanna give this drama a try. It might also give you an unsolicited healing feels β₯οΈ
This bores me to death! Please do understand, I tried my best until ep 10 but I really canβt π« Please tell me if the mom secretary and her boss hook up together? I think these 2 are more interesting than the leads!

If it not for Sung Hoon's pretty face, I would have not endured it TBH π
